I’ve been layering Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam (I’m going to have to repurchase it when I finish it; it’s become a staple blush for me) with either Natasha Denona Mini Bloom or Em Cosmetics Magic Hour Blush. But I pair Glossier Beam under pretty much any blush lately.
I don’t do cheek combos. I haven’t worn a highlighter or bronzer really in months. I’ve just worn blush. Mainly Clinique Cheek Pop Nude, NARS Super Orgasm, Jouer Rose Petal
I haven’t been wearing makeup much, but yesterday, I did slap on some makeup because I had applied a wack of sunscreen and then iT cosmetics CC on top to go do work outside for a number of hours. I was looking alarmingly one dimensional so I slapped on a quick face (I’m sure my dogs appreciated it).. Cheeks I did Clinique Black Honey and then put Pretty Vulgar Lilac Lust on the upper portion of the blush. It looked awesome.
Chanel Coral Red with Dior Coral Vibes on top….it’s gorgeous!!
I have been really into blushes lately- i alternate between one of my Natasha Denona palettes (bloom, love, or darya) and Nudestix.
Because I’ve barely worn makeup in the past month, my cheek looks have mostly been very minimal. Like just using ColourPop Drop Of A Hat or Parallel SS Cheeks. I have got to get out of this lazy rut!
Fenty Sun Stalk’r in Shady Biz and Becca Luminous Blush in Snapdragon was a look I wore on vacation in February.
I hadn’t been very creative with my cheek products the last 5 weeks while I’ve been working (I resigned this week; it wasn’t working out for me). Anyway, I don’t really have a color combo I’ve been loving, although I have rediscovered the ABH Glow Kit in Aurora. I’ve been loving it, especially with peach, coral, and warm nude blushes.
I’ve been using various foundation samples for zoom calls (no one can see texture so it’s perfect if I don’t end up liking it) but to give myself life, I contour with Burberry Earthy and add Clinique Cheek Pop in Black Honey to the apples. My next blush purchases will be more cheek pops – it’s impossible to overuse them and they last all day.
Always the same for me: peachy coral shades (no orange undertones either).
I’ve been layering on various shades from 3 different hourglass palettes. I was going makeup free and then one day just needed to give me that pick me up. I’ve forgotten how sacred those 10mins of self care really mean.
Cheek products, namely blush is my favorite beauty product! I have dry mature skin and am loving cream products. I love Em Cosmetics’ Serum Blushes. They are long-lasting, skincare-infused and radiant products. I have the shade Soft Amethyst which looks dark for my fair skin, but sheers out beautifully. I highly recommend this blush!!
Tuesday I mixed 2 blushes-Revlon Ravishing Rose and Sydney Grace Pure Love-and I thought it looked really good.
I’ve been playing with makeup almost every day since I’ve been housebound. Not over the top makeup, more natural, mixing CC creams and tints with CoverFx Custom Colour Drops or I also have a dark tint from The Body Shop. I’ve been trying different concealers and powders for setting and types of setting. I’ve also been playing with brushes vs puff (I have some made locally as well as Tati’s much softer ones) vs sponge and fingers. It all seems to depend on the formula of the base…
I digress.
While doing so I’ve been playing with cream blush as a base (generally any of the ND palettes I have: Bloom, Love, Darya or Fenty Match Stix Yacht Lyfe) then a powder over top (I’ve heard recently, blush fades the quickest, so layering lasts longer) and I love the look of the pink duo glow on top (from the Darya or mini diamond & glow duo).
The combos give a lovely flushed pink cheek and if you don’t go overboard on the rest of your face, it’s quite youthful and fresh looking.
I’ve been using urban decay shape shifter ( which I love) , I’ve had early mornings and it’s so quick. I’ve been using cover fx monochromatic blush duo in peach after contour. Looks ok. I’m just really babysitting and going to grocery store/gas station . Delivering masks . Stay safe everyone! ❤️
