I’m thinking I can safely pass on this one as I think I have enough near matches with other ND palettes.
Now this looks interesting! Having ‘grown up’ in the 60’s, I really like this little palette with its myriad shades. So reminds me of Rimmel’s pastel frosty shades that I use to adore….
I would love to hear your 1960’s Stories. I live for those sort of fun, vibrant “makeup/fashion” stories!
OMG! That is beautiful with the greyed greens and mauves! DO WANT.
The model’s eye makeup does not appear to represent the mini palette at all!
I came back for a second look because I felt the same way. I just don’t see it.
I just did the same, went back to see if my eyes were tricking me or WTH?
Yes, I saw the announcement and I thought: Yes, that’s for me! But then I saw the palette I was disappointed: nope, not for me.
You’re so right – they have clearly incorporated additional shadows to create that “look”. Seems a bit misleading. I like 2 or 3 of the shades, but not enough to want to buy this palette.
I think its actually the opposite, the shade descriptions say that shade that appears like a light peach matte is an antique rose matte which is a pretty good description of the deeper pink matte on the models eyes. So I think the pic of the palette might be what is “wrong”.
I’m wondering the same thing. I love the eye look but how do the light colours in the palette do that on their own?!
IKR? Where are the greens? And where did that dark mauve come from? Never trust PR photo looks or swatches.
My thoughts exactly
I kinda want this one if it performs well…and it would feel less scary to try a small palette. :o) It’s such a pretty color story!
ugh i love that color story but I haven’t had great luck with Natasha’s shadows in the past. i’d love to swatch it in-store, but that doesn’t look likely given our current situation.
these kinds of muted colors are so pretty, and as a fan of 60s makeup i’m really tempted by this palette, especially as i don’t have most of these shades in my collection! i’ll have to wait for reviews though (including on this site), as if i remember correctly these 5-pan palettes from the brand can be hit and miss…
Not sure I’m feeling a 1960s vibe from this, more like an early 2000’s. I really like the color selection, though. It has a very fresh, light summery look.
I can see that. Light, frosty shades were really popular in the early 2000s, also.
Oooohhhh….interested for sure!
The model in the promo does NOT appear to be wearing any of those shades in the mini.
Eager to see the swatches on this one. Fresh, soft colors for spring & summer ?
I am very attracted to this palette! But why isn’t the model wearing these shades?
*swoons*. I love this. Sometimes her sparkly shadows don’t have enough of a base color though, so I’ll wait for the review 🙂
I’m intrigued, especially by the first three shades.
I’m reminding myself that her pictures never match up with the real swatches…
But. But. Why is the model wearing much darker eyeshadow than the pans show? Is this another example of misleading ND product photography?
Now this is interesting. Love the color story and the price of her mini palettes seem easier on the wallet.
I’m gonna beg my husband for this, hehe!! ❣️❣️
I see many MAC eyeshadows that are in my collection, like Steamy, Flourishing, Greensmoke, Naked Lunch.
Definitely want this! Gorgeous!!
Not only is this a lovely looking little palette but living in the U.K. it’ll be the first mini I can purchase….
I’m curious to see how these actually swatch, as ND palettes can look completely different in the swatches/looks on her site as to how they really are in person.
Very pretty palette. I can easily dupe. But she is pretty?
I am glad I wasn’t the only one who didn’t see the palette on the model. I really like the color story here. The shades remind me of some of the Yardley pastels that came in the tubes. Let’s hope that Christine reviews it and suggests dupes so I can see how much of this I already own.
I’m so here for this palette. Even though the PR photo has nothing to do with it!
Now those would be the Easter colors I’d use. And I tend not to like pastels and drab colors, but this just speak to romance and spring.
I saw the image of the model and didn’t bother clicking on the link to see more yesterday. This morning, however, I did and love the look of the palette–in all honesty this might be the first of NDs minis I have been drawn to.
If the palette looks more like the swatches and not like what’s on the model, I’d be interested for sure.
