I like shopping the Beautylish website. I love the way they package your order like a gift and I love the way they offer a flexible payment plan with no credit check or any interest or b.s. What I don’t like is that I got an email for the spring gift card event ($20 gift card per $100 spent) and when I clicked the fine print they said that “Sorry, Flexible Payments is not available as a payment method for any orders that qualify for a gift card.” I distinctly remembered using flexible payments for the fall gift card event, so I looked it up. Sure, enough, the terms have changed. In light of Covid-19 and so many people out of work…shame on you, Beautylish. Shame.
No flexible payments? Well that’s me out then, no way I’m dropping $100 on unnecessary items right now. Beautylish usually gets it right but that is the wrong call to make at a time like this, show some consideration for your customers, seriously.
I guess they are being hit hard by the same economic issues the rest of us are. I might indulge if I was still working, but I can’t justify it when things are so uncertain. Oh, well.
