Your skin tone/coloring: Still winter pale at MAC NC37 & PMB Labs Light medium 13
Look you loved this week?: A fun silver screen look I made, as I rarely wear dark lipstick and that set the look up. Also, I enjoyed the metallic silver eye shadow despite slightly crêpe eyes; it still worked.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Old, my Skinny Dip Collection – Ultra Foil Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette by Jouer
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I purchased the Natasha Denona Mini Retro palette thanks to you Christine and a few others who seem to enjoy it and it should arrive soon. I’m not a pink person, but this seems Spring fresh and subtle so I thought I’d give it a go!
I think we can all agree that Fenty stole the week and ran off with it. If only *all* Fenty products were as good as the “Cheeks Out” line…
YES!! I’m so impressed w/ Fenty’s new blush line. I can’t remember a recent launch with a ton of choices, and every single shade perfection. Congrats to Fenty – I’m happy when they hit it out of the park, and also hope they’ll get their overall quality more consistent.
Skin tone/coloring: Light, neutral skin tone, green eyes, s&p hair
Look you loved this week: Since I work at home and my office does audio-only Zoom meetings, I don’t really have much of a reason to wear makeup on a daily basis anymore. So I decided to pick a different palette each day and do an eye look just for fun. Here are two ColourPop looks I did this week that had interesting effects on my green eyes:
1) A look that made my eyes look ridiculously green using ColourPop’s Lilac You a Lot palette: Imagine That in crease, Trainwreck on lid, Filtered in outer crease, Fluff on outer lid. Then I used Marc Jacobs Highliner in Mist Me on my lower lash line and Cover Girl Clump Crusher Mascara.
2) A green look that looked nice on green eyes using ColourPop’s Just My Luck palette: Olive U in crease, Mary Jane on lid, Charmed in outer V, Fluff on outer lid. Then I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Stash on my lower lash line and Cover Girl Clump Crusher Mascara. I also brushed Lucky Clover highlighter from ABH Moonchild Glow Kit on my cheekbones just to see what it would look like (kinda cool, actually).
Any new or old favorites discovered: I dug ABH Modern Renaissance out of my “Box of Makeup I Never Use” and realized how nice some of these shades are. The pinks and oranges don’t work for me, but there are a few shades that are very usable. Buon Fresco might be one of the best transition shades I own.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week? I think I’ll devote next week to experimenting with new looks using my single shadows.
I’m ready for Colourpop to restock so I can purchase the Lilac You A Lot and Mint To Be palettes! I’ve wanted them for ages!
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I did a couple looks with my Sigma Enchanted palette and loved them both. I’ve had that palette for a while but am only now starting to appreciate it. The shade Moonglade is ethereal and beautiful and Electrum is just such a cool sparkly shade.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Sigma Enchanted, L’Oréal 24h Freshwear Foundation, Maybelline Fit Me Loose powder. I’ve enjoyed a more satin/matte look this week and even set my face; I don’t know who I am anymore, lol.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m hoping the CT Quad my husband order for me will be in next week so I can use it!
Here’s a link to both of my looks if anyone wants to check them out!

Those are lovely!
I like those two looks a lot. Very pretty!
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: I was surprised at how well an eye look turned out this week using Mecca Max’s Eyephoria palette of graduated golds and purple/plum shades. I used the soft white gold on the lid, with the plum shade on the lower lid and a mid tone plum shade in the crease and paired it with MAC’s Marrakesh.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Guerlain’s Les Verts quad. Soft silvery greens, silky matte brown that was easy to blend just a bit of for the crease.
It was released at the same time as Les Gris (very cool toned teals, silver blue) and Les Aquas. It was the last time Guerlain produced stellar eyeshadows, they have been pretty much rubbish ever since then.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: ABH Sultry, Tarantino’s Emerald palette, a few singles and I am not sure what else in my palette of the day quest.
