Release Date + About the Launch

“If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’ll have noticed I was majorly crushing on mint all last year, and ever since I’ve literally been obsessed with pastel shades. So, while pastels have been flooding the runways, we wanted to launch our own pastel moment for spring with three divine new Pastel Obsessions Palettes in Lilac, Rose, and Mint. I cannot wait for you guys to try these – pastels are the new neutrals!” — Huda Kattan

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I really appreciate the inclusion of the yellows in the Rose palette, my Grandma’s favorite flowers are roses and her favorite varieties are yellow. Having said that, I think her Neons and Nudes palettes are the only ones I’m still considering, I think for pastels Im better off with Colourpop.

Huda is inundated on Instagram with people claiming they stole the idea from colourpop… I have the colourpop ones and I don’t think it’s really that similar (can’t wait for your swatches though). Are they just so young they think colourpop invented the monochromatic 9 pan palette? Similar to how they claim any rainbow palette is a James Charles ripoff. Ah to be young again…
