Bite Beauty Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon Swatches (x10)
Bite Beauty Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon ($24.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a reformulation of the brand’s previous Lip Crayon range that features an assortment of new shades and old favorites. I just received this set of 10 as press samples but expect to receive the remainder of the range soon, but I wanted to get these swatched ASAP instead of waiting for all of them.
Acai Smash and Pavlova are ?!
Didn’t get Glace or Pastille last go round, but I may now. As long as I don’t have dupes for them, that is.
Pavlova is calling for me to buy it in the next VIB sale if I don’t have any dupes – and I love the name! But I’ll wait to see the review from Christine first 🙂
Pleasantly surprised to say I quite enjoy the new formula! It’s very comfortable and non-drying. I picked up Hard Cider and it’s a lovely color.
Finally 🙂 ! I have been patiently waiting for your reviews and swatches, and had been diligently checking your blog on a daily basis since the Power Moves were released.
Brandy has been my holy grail shade for years, and I was concerned that the new formulation would alter its colour. I will sit tight!
I’m so sorry! My samples only just came in on Friday (of these 10).
Ah, bite beauty… An other brand I can only Dream about… Totaly unavailable. But I know that if It exisist a brand that can replace Mac in my Heart concerning lipsticks… It Is bite beauty
I’m relieved to see that the new formula looks really good.
I love the new formulation. I got Nonino, Tatin, and Leche. I think they’re definitely less drying than the old formula which I also loved. I have high hopes for the lipstick reformulation, since I didn’t love Amuse Bouche compared to the very original first Bite Lipsticks (thought AB was more drying).
It looks like going vegan doesn’t decrease quality!
I am hoping that the reformulation is a good one and I imagine that it will be since Bite rarely misses the point. I love Pavlova, of course. It is a shade in my preferred shade range but I also like Cognac for a deep shade for fall/winter. Looking forward to seeing these in store since both JC Penney’s Sephora’s carry Bite. I am planning a trip to Kalispell to see my daughter around the 1st and I am looking forward to spending some time in the store to see what is new.
Tatin and Amaretto sure are pretty! I am excited to see the rest of the shades too. Bite always makes great staples and more fun shades, and they are one of my favorite brands.
I don’t know if it’s the colour or the name that caught my eye first, but Pavlova is a lovely red.
These look lovely, pigmented shades and not a nude amongst them. Calvados would be my favourite.
Pavlova and Red Velvet are smashing !
I adore these but am trying to use up the comparable colors already in my stash before accumulating more cool reds, plums, and mauves. Interested to read the reviews, they look great but I’ve read they slide around and lack longevity.
I picked up Glace, a shade I have not purchased before. It’s quite nice, and the formula is nice, but I my better bet would have been Pastille as it looks cooler. I’ve been trying to go a little warmer on my lipsticks to pair with overall warmer eye looks, but I’m struggling because they just seem to look ho-hum. I wonder this is a perception thing. I mean, I’m wearing orange eyeshadow now..so…
Perception has such a strong impact, IMO! So often someone will say “that’s the best you’ve looked” and I HATED whatever it was (and vice versa).
Please please please be just as comfortable as the original formula, because these colors look beautiful! Nonino might be a great every day color for me.
