Survey Says... March 18th, 2020
Happy Wednesday! Here's this week's survey, which you can copy and paste and share as a comment.
- Your skin tone/coloring:
- What’s your favorite attribute about your hair?
- What’s your favorite attribute about your skin?
- What’s your favorite attribute about your face?
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes).
What’s your favorite attribute about your hair? It is super thick! Fairly indestructible, too. Weird considering that it’s texture is more fine and it has a 3A curl to it.
What’s your favorite attribute about your skin? That it doesn’t show my age! Probably because it runs oilier, which also means I get breakouts at 61 y.o.
What’s your favorite attribute about your face? High cheekbones and almond shaped eyes give me an “exotic” look, according to my BFF.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium yellow warm undertone, dark brown hair and eyes
What’s your favorite attribute about your hair? The color.
I actually never died my hair (OK, I used blue and green toning in my grungy high school years), I really like my color, undertones and the red-ish reflects I get during summer.
I also plan to let my greys go, but might change my mind if my greys start looking really bad; but my mom and grandmother greyed quite gracefully.
What’s your favorite attribute about your skin? Nothing???
I don’t hate my skin… but my yellow undertone makes me look sick, my skin gets easily irritated or dry patches almost eczema like, while still being prone to body acne and keratosis pilaris. `Great` combo, right?
What’s your favorite attribute about your face? Nothing???
Round face, but almost square jaw, small face with big Greek nose, hooded close-set small eyes, big pores, easily congested chin, small lips… again, I don’t hate my face (or myself), but my face features are not ones I would consider in general aesthetically pleasing.
What I somehow like is that my features are almost childish, so I look quite young for my age. Most people assume I’m in college, although I’m 32 (though a 32yo can go to college if she wants).
I love facial features with character! 🙂
Good for you for wanting to let your grays grow in. My hair has naturally become salt-and-pepper, and I get tons of compliments. My hairdresser tells me younger people come to her to put gray streaks in like mine! And your young-looking face will certainly be a blessing when you get older. It sounds like your face has a lot of lovely character. There are many things I don’t like about my face (nose too big, eyes too small, etc), but that’s what makeup is for!
aww one to encourage self-esteem! Very nice 🙂
Your skin tone/coloring:
fair, neutral/cool, medium brown hair, not-very-blue eyes
What’s your favorite attribute about your hair?
it’s naturally very wavy, and there’s a fair amount of it.
What’s your favorite attribute about your skin?
The tone suits me and I have a couple freckles I’m fond of.
What’s your favorite attribute about your face?
Hm it’s kind of old-timey looking. Like it could be looking out from a silver daguerreotype plate lol.
Your skin tone/coloring: Above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
What’s your favorite attribute about your hair? I love that it’s thick and healthy and I love the color! I have natural streaks of reddish copper at my temples that give some dimension, so I make sure to part it at the side, but also I love that I have every color of hair in my hair: black, brown, red, blond, it’s all there. I think I love my hair the most out of all my features.
What’s your favorite attribute about your skin? That it’s very normal. I don’t deal with breakouts much at all (except for the occasional monthly hormonal breakout, but that’s usually minor as well) and it doesn’t get very oily or dry.
What’s your favorite attribute about your face? My eyes. They’re an odd color, but they’re also large and I like accentuating them with eyeshadow and finding colors that make them look more green or more blue, depending on my mood.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, s&p hair.
What’s your favorite attribute about your hair? The way my gray is coming in. It’s like highlights.
What’s your favorite attribute about your skin? Thanks to genetics, I barely have any wrinkles.
What’s your favorite attribute about your face? My eye color.
Your skin tone/coloring: above, dark brown hair w/highlights and hazel eyes
What’s your favorite attribute about your hair? My hair is very fine and thin but I like the color (dark brown). I am 60 and have a few gray hairs but I get highlights once a year and the grays blend right in.
What’s your favorite attribute about your skin? I had oily skin when I was younger, now it is normal. I have very few wrinkles and people don’t believe how old I am.
What’s your favorite attribute about your face? My eyes are hazel, which isn’t anything special but I can line them with blue eyeliner and it just makes them pop.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
What’s your favourite attribute about your hair? It’s colour – I inherited my Scottish grandmother’s red/gold hair shade that is quite a lovely shade. Both my parents had the ‘red’genes, so I feel I was lucky.
What’s your favourite attribute about your skin? For my age, it’s relatively wrinkle free and clear, not perfect though – it has a touch of redness and uneven tones which is smoothed away by foundation, but generally my skin is in good condition. My mother had lovely skin and I guess I have inherited this from her. I have also taken care of it too (sunscreen, moisturisers etc.) and have no acne scars (thankfully).
What’s your favourite attribute about your face? I think how everything blends together – my hair shade, my good skin and my blue/grey eyes.
I like these positive questions!
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes
What’s your favorite attribute about your hair? It’s healthy, grows fast, and can get really long.
What’s your favorite attribute about your skin? I don’t have a lot of wrinkles for being 50 (oily skin does have a perk).
What’s your favorite attribute about your face? I like my multi-colored eyes.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair/cool skin (foundation matches: Fenty Pro Filt’r 110, Urban Decay All Nighter 2.5, NARS Natural Radiant Longwear 2.0 Mont Blanc, Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Light EF 02, L’Oreal True Match C3 Creamy Natural), gray eyes, brown hair with red highlights and scattered blonde/blue strands
What’s your favorite attribute about your hair? Either its 4 naturally-occurring tones or its texture-thick but fine, and straight but easily braided into waves.
What’s your favorite attribute about your skin? That’s a toss-up between its fair, cool coloring or the matched trio of moles on the right side of my chin and neck and my right upper arm.
What’s your favorite attribute about your face? Probably my eyes-gray’s an uncommon eye color.
Your skin tone/coloring:
Pinky-pale skin, mousey-blondish hair, grey-blue eyes
What’s your favorite attribute about your hair?
It’s light enough that I don’t have to bleach it to dye it bright colours!! I mean, I could get a brighter, longer-lasting colour if I did, but I hate the feeling. Also it dries very fast.
What’s your favorite attribute about your skin?
It keeps my blood on the inside.
(I don’t have strong feelings about my skin beauty-wise, either positive or negative. It’s my skin, it’s what I’m used to, and that’s fine.)
What’s your favorite attribute about your face?
It’s very expressive! I tend to pull all sorts of silly faces in photos, and I have a wide array of possibilities. 😀
Your skin tone/coloring: light/medium, neutral undertone
What’s your favorite attribute about your hair? I have a lot of hair, medium thickness but very healthy, and naturally wavy/curly hair (2C/3A) that I only need to wash every 5-7 days and is complimented almost daily.
What’s your favorite attribute about your skin? I’m 52 and have virtually no wrinkles. People think I’m no older than 40, so that’s a plus.
What’s your favorite attribute about your face? I have high cheekbones, blue/green eyes, and my I wouldn’t trade my nose with anyone else’s.
