YSL Rouge Volupte Rock'N Shine Lipstick Swatches
YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a new, limited edition variation on the Rouge Volupte formula. It’s supposed to be a “lipstick-meets-balm” with “hydrating, medium-coverage” that has a “star-shaped core packed with pearls” for both shine and shimmer. Here are swatches of the eight shades!
Oh, these look nice! Lately I’ve been digging these types of stained glass lipsticks for a more casual feel or to match up with an intense or seriously smokey eye look. Pink Bass, Rock ‘N Red, Cacao Bounce and Rocking Coral are my favorite shades. Orange Speaker is one I’m liking for summer!
I have a billion lipsticks that look just like Cacao Bounce, and yet I am so very tempted by the look of the star core…
Me toooo ? ? ?
These look very hydrating and creamy, although some look a bit patchy too. I like the Cacao Bounce shade the best.
These look very pretty, I might have to swing by Sephora to check them out.
The star cores are very cute. I quite like the looks of Cacao Bounce and Rocking Coral.
Pink Bass looks like my kind of colour but I purchased one of the Rouge Volupte “lip in oil” (or whatever they’re called) lipsticks a while back and while it’s lovely, it really just glorified Revlon Lip Butter for 5 times the price. I’ll be curious to see how long these wear, though, and may buy one or two if they’re really good and last fairly well.
Pink Bass is calling to me, but I must stick to my no-buy. I wonder how these compare to Dior Lip Glow. Are they a similar product?
I’ll have to go swatch Pink Bass… it looks moisturizing and comfortable, just gotta make sure the color would actually show up on my lips. With sheerer formulas that can be tough since I have barely any natural pigment.
