Pat McGrath Galactic Gold Palette Swatches
Pat McGrath Galactic Gold Palette ($65.00) is a new, limited edition eyeshadow palette that includes six shades (three new, three previously released).
I ordered this through the Instagram early access, and it went via two-shipping so it came sooner than my order for the set of palettes (which might arrive at the end of this week… if I’m lucky). The brand has stated (more recently) that this palette along with the other MTHRSHP palette are sold out with the only additional stock coming via Selfridges, which came and went around 7-9PM PT on 12/23.
*sigh* it really is quite pretty.
Even though I’m irked that there are 3 repeat shades, the other 3 are DIVINE!!! Electron is really something else… ??
It appears as sold out on Selfridges website, did it lounch there and I missed it or is it just saying that but wasn’t launch there?
It launched after this post went live, Celine, but I updated the original launch post when it went live on Selfridges.
Beautiful swatches. I always trust yours more than any other source. Hope that those who are purchasing really enjoy it.
I was able to snag the palette duo when it was briefly available on PMG website. Out of the two palettes this one is my favorite despite the multiple golds. I just love her purples so much! One redeeming point for this palette is that Galactic Gold is a duochrome, so that’s better than just slapping three golds in a six pan palette. The Dark Galaxy also has a very pretty sparkling pink duochrome, so overall I’m pleased with these palettes. The release of this collection, however, was an ugly mess! I will be carefully considering all my further purchases from PMG, because I feel that her customers were treated like cr@p and that’s not something I want to support in a brand.
DROOOOLING
The swatches are really `cosmic` and beautiful. Bronze and Corruption are probably the only ones I would put on my eyelids (and dupable with MAC custom palette single eyeshadows I already own), but otherwise the palette in beautiful and `Star Wars`y enough from my point of view.
That’s a really lovely color story but I’m heartened that I can dupe every shade, at least after some mixing.
