ColourPop x Ulta Holiday 2019: A Flutter Palette + On Da Fly Trio Swatches
ColourPop’s Butterfly Collection also saw the launch of Ulta-exclusive palettes and Super Shock trios. I’ve divided them into three parts as the trios seem to be coordinated with the three palettes (and everything together seemed like it would be too much for one post). This post features the A Flutter palette along with the On Da Fly trio. Each palette includes two Pressed Glitters and one or more Pressed Pigments, while each trio includes one Super Shock Pigment (all of these come with a warning that they are not intended for use on the eyes).
Ugh. Not going to buy any eyeshadow palette that has unsafe-for-eye stuff in it.
That they have Get Lost as both a pressed glitter and a SSS tells me all I need to know about their attitude towards anyone who experiences vision loss due to using one of these. They’ll tell them to GET LOST with any lawsuits against them for it.
This Is my favorite of the there, it has the colori story that suits bette my vibes and rastes. however, I’m not interested ad all, fistly because I have dozen of dupes, secondly because outside US CP Is a chimera.
Nope – definitely not for me – the pressed glitters and the orangey shades that we have seen many, many times before. CP has lost the plot.
I’m done with Colourpop. I agree eye safety is important but I wouldn’t mind the glitter shades if they were plastic free so I could just throw them away. Other people clearly don’t care about eye safety. Yeah, in the comments here but elsewhere? There is an overwhelming support for the glitter regardless of the risk. It all ends up in the trash, the environment, wildlife and our waters. It’s plastic.
Packaging can be sent to recycling facilities like Terracycle but glitter- after use, is next to impossible to recycle. You would have to collect each piece. I know the world doesn’t really care. I just do.
I don’t understand why CP keeps putting those glittery shades their palettes: don’t they hear constant outcries and complaints of their customers not to do so? I mean they can release them in separate (glitter) palettes or singles and whoever wants them, can buy them. But, nope, they continue putting them in the palettes, in spite of their customers’ wants and needs.
