ColourPop’s Butterfly Collection also saw the launch of Ulta-exclusive palettes and Super Shock trios. I’ve divided them into three parts as the trios seem to be coordinated with the three palettes (and everything together seemed like it would be too much for one post). This post features the A Flutter palette along with the On Da Fly trio.  Each palette includes two Pressed Glitters and one or more Pressed Pigments, while each trio includes one Super Shock Pigment (all of these come with a warning that they are not intended for use on the eyes).

Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I’m done with Colourpop. I agree eye safety is important but I wouldn’t mind the glitter shades if they were plastic free so I could just throw them away. Other people clearly don’t care about eye safety. Yeah, in the comments here but elsewhere? There is an overwhelming support for the glitter regardless of the risk. It all ends up in the trash, the environment, wildlife and our waters. It’s plastic.

Packaging can be sent to recycling facilities like Terracycle but glitter- after use, is next to impossible to recycle. You would have to collect each piece. I know the world doesn’t really care. I just do.

I don’t understand why CP keeps putting those glittery shades their palettes: don’t they hear constant outcries and complaints of their customers not to do so? I mean they can release them in separate (glitter) palettes or singles and whoever wants them, can buy them. But, nope, they continue putting them in the palettes, in spite of their customers’ wants and needs.
