What was your last impulse purchase?

Apparently, I purchased the Fresh Fresh Darlings Gift Set, and I really have no idea how or why that happened. When it arrived (with products I did intend to purchase), I was actually confused, LOL.

Probably the Urban Decay Born to Run palette. I really didn’t think I’d get much use from it and, granted, there are a few shades I simply do not use, but there are so many really wonderful and unique shadows in it that I’m glad I caved and gave into the feeling that I’d regret it if I missed out on it.

I, for reasons unbeknownst to me, ended up buying the tartlette in bloom because it was on sale for $19 during the holiday sales, even though I have a perfectly good one at home, lol. I also ended up buying the Pur Barbie palette at Ulta as it was marked down to $17 and I had points anyway, just for the packaging. The shadows are ok, neutrals with a few pops of color but I couldn’t resist the packaging.

I’m waiting to hear what you think of it and if it’s (fingers crossed) a bit cooler than it looked in Christine’s photos. I wanted it so badly based on the original pictures but having seen the more reliable ones from Temptalia, I’m cooling off about it (if you’ll pardon the pun).

Girl, ya gotta wait for Christine’s review! I was stunned, until I saw the true swatches. It has zero in common with my mental image. As I said previously, that’s when the lemming jumped over the cliff and I was saved. Hallelujah.

I’ve been doing a lot of impulse buying lately. The latest make-up ones are:
Natasha Denona Sunrise – brilliant idea
Pat McGrath Blitztrance lipsticks in Cyber Orchid and Fuchsia Perfect when they were on sale – ok idea but in hindsight not really sure this will get a lot of play
All three Urban Decay scented powders – horrible idea and I let nostalgia get the better of me

3 Juvias place eyeshadow palettes and a blush palette bundle ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️…. then had the nerve to turn around and place an order at Sephora.

It was a couple of weeks ago! It was the Chantecaille holiday lip Christal in Rubillite and the holiday 2019 gold evening clutch . The lipstick I love, but something tells me that it is best worn with fancy evening wear at a NYE party, and I do not have the energy for that right now!!
The acrylic clutch was major impulse LE. Cute, but I knew I would never use it when I put it in my basket. I already gifted it! (they were having a good site wide sale!!)

Well, I am embarrassed to admit that when I was up with my baby in the middle of the night, I saw an instagram ad for the Hourglass Ghost Unlocked face palette and bought it. I realized the next day that I probably bought it because I was bugged that I had missed out on PMG Dark Galaxy. I had signed up for emails and never got one and followed her on Instagram where she had posted the wrong time for release. Ugh. I wasn’t going to let this Hourglass limited release pass me by! Lol! Anyway, I told my husband what i had done and he laughed. I was embarrassed that FOMO had gotten me. When the palette arrived I was nervous it would be too dark for my fair complexion. Luckily, I found it gorgeous and it suits me very well! It was an excellent spontaneous purchase! Phew! 🙂

I purchased a NARS e/s palette which is the last thing I need more of. I absolutely love the colors but it just arrived so I haven’t tried it yet..

Hi Christine??‍♀️ My latest impulse was lashes!! I went to the store specifically for Nars and Fenty but just had to add some lashes right before I got to the counter. I have stashes of lashes but just couldn’t resist ?

Etude House’s Total Age Repair Wrinkle Reduce Royal BB cream SPF 45 PA +++ – spotted this in my local SKorean beauty store but could not find any reviews on my phone on it. It was only $10 so I bought it hoping it might be a bit more wrinkle/pore blurring and moisturizing than my current fave Missha M Perfect Cover BB cream. Nope, it emphasized texture and was slightly drying. Both shades available appeared gray and chalky on my fair skin also. I give it a D- , no wonder there were no current reviews on this product online!

I was watching a Sarah Hublar YouTube video where she did a GRWM using a Kosas liquid eyeshadow. The formula looked good and I was curious what other shades it came in so I looked it up on Sephora’s site. There I saw a *sale* (yipee… ) So, instead of purchasing one for $28 I bought a set for $35. I do like the formula but there is one shade that is way to warm, another that is so different I’m going to have to work with it, and one shade that I really like. Not exactly a fail but I probably would have been a better shopper if I had just gotten the one I really like.

Boxing Day sale: Rituel de Fille Ash and Ember Eye Soot in “Anima,” RdF Metamorphic Highlighter in “The Siren,” RMS foundation (have it and love it but want another shade) and RMS cake liner (I use cake liner everyday.)

I kinda went crazy, but I got these items for 30% off, which rarely happens in “clean beauty.”

All my buys are impulse-based. None of it is rational. If I thought practically, I probably wouldn’t have bought anything past Mothership1 two years ago.

A backup of Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Susperia, and one of the Glimmer Veils in Wizard. I’ve been checking out Sephora’s sale page.
