Oh me, oh my….I see 3 lipsticks I want and that e/s quad….what can I say??? I hope I can dupe it (for some reason, it reminds me a bit of Dior’s Feel 5-pan). It all looks so insanely pretty and elegant in how it’s presented and photographed, etc.

This is my issue with Chanel…they spend all their design money on the embossing of the actual product while the packaging is usually the classic black, I understand that’s their signature packaging but i can’t spend the money on a design that fades within a few uses:(

I think this quint would yield significantly different looks than many other gold quint/quads, and would complement other golds in one’s collection. It seems that Dior has used this quint layout since the 90s, only the (unnecessary IMO) brushes are on the side, rather than beneath the shades. It’s nice that a brand thinks ‘If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.’

I like most of the collection. Something at every price point to give almost any woman a little luxury for the holidays and the new year.

The fall collection was too dark for me and I wasn’t interested in much of it.

The highlighter is tempting. I do wish the embossing could be throughout the entire package. Almost too pretty to use.

Might get one of the lipsticks.

Wow, what a stunning, elegant looking collection! Everything looks great, very classic, wearable-looking colors, I’m most curious about the single shadows

So, being a Chanel lover, and finding that the e/s usually work well for me, regardless of how they score, I am in real danger here. I always love Chanel’s campaigns and enjoy the glamorous presentation, beautiful models and just downright classiness of the products. I will undoubtedly pick up a couple of pieces from this collection, just not sure what yet. I love the look of the burgundy/eggplant e/s so that is a definite.

I just made a rare purchase – unrated by Christine, sight unseen. That quad is top notch – doubt they’d create that stunning embossing on second-rate shadows. Those colors are not the hardest to manufacture well. Of course, there can be production issues (eg hard pressing, human error, etc) but I suppose we’ll know soon enough. Plus the color story spoke to me. The rest of the collection is beautiful too but I have lots of highlighters (one of which is a LE Chanel), too many single e/s (strong preference for high-end quads), and the lipsticks are beautiful, but I have just run out of room on my 2 spinners with the latest PMG releases. Gotta use up at least 1 lippie to buy any more! I have to admit – it’s tough with this holiday Chanel and YSL releases. They’re absolutely gorgeous!

Classic with a modern twist, a bold yet refined interpretation of holiday elegance, features that are sculpted with light and shadow. To say the least, I’ve become a huge fan of Lucia Pica’s esthetic. It’s slightly edgy without being over-the-top. So many of the items in her collections transcend a woman’s age. It’s just a matter of knowing about placement. This year’s quad and highlighter create a color story that resonates with me. The lip colors are stunning, but because I have very rosey lips, I always have to try lip color at the counter before purchasing. I can hardly wait to see the collection in person.
