What was the last makeup look you wore and loved?

I enjoyed how the ColourPop Uh-Huh Honey look came out; I didn’t know where it was going to go, and though it doesn’t have the contrast I normally opt for, it had a seamless quality to it that I really loved.

Eye combo I keep reaching for (pulled out my ABH Renaissance because I haven’t used it in a looong time)

Transition – Buon Fresco
Crease – Love Letter
Lid into crease – Sydney Grace liquid shadow in Glory

I carry all my upper shadows to lower lash line in order that I apply; transition colour, crease on top, smudge of lid into crease colour on lash line. I added UD 24/7 pencil in Love Drug on waterline

This pretty simple eye look made my green eyes look even greener.

EYES—I started with Colourpop’s Precision Brow Color (gel pot) in Cool Cocoa. Then I used Marc Jacobs Highliner in Blacquer to tightline my upper lash line. Next, I applied NYX Proof It Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer. I put Oh Deer from the Tarte Unleashed palette in my crease, then Urban Decay’s single shadow Flash on my lids. Then I applied Marc Jacobs Highliner in (Grape)vine just under the outer third of my lower lash line. Finally, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara on upper lashes.

FACE—Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Concealer, MAC Mineralize Blush in Sweet Enough, and Smashbox Petal Metal Highlighter in Gilded Rose on cheekbones (and a little on my inner eye corners).

LIPS—Guerlain Rouge G Lipstick in #06

I used the Huda Beauty Neon Orange palette. I took the lightest orange and blended it into my crease and all over the lid, then took the sparkly orange and put that all over my lid as well. I took a warm brown from the Natasha Denona Safari palette on my outer corner to ground things a bit and line my upper lash line, and did the same matte colors on my lower lash line. I put some black eyeliner on my upper lash line and used IT Cosmetics Superhero mascara. It was colorful but not too over the top. I really loved it.

Lately I’ve been wearing Colourpop’s Moon Lite on the outer corner of my eye & Urban Decay’s Dust on the lid. I just really like the colours together and it’s something fast I can apply in the morning.

I pulled out my ABH Modern Ren the other day because I hadn’t used it in awhile.
Several people throughout the day complimented me on my eyeshadow and I also thought it looked good. I can’t remember the names of the shades I used off had but I know I focused on the left side of the palette.

I purchased a 3 palette set from Kaleidos and I am in love with the green shades in the Sci-Fi Green palette. I used Radioactive as my transition shade, Smog in the crease with ET in the crease over Smog but keeping it more to the outside triangle. I used Nuclear over the entire mobile lid and added Glamora just on the center of my mobile lid. I also used Glamora in the inner corner. I had to bring a brow bone shade in so I used a cream coloured shade from my Pony palette.
I did get my Coy palette this week but haven’t had a chance to play with it. I finger swatched it and really love the shades but have been having issues with my mother since my brother cleaned her house while we were gone. We knew it was going to be bad because hoarders just don’t tolerate any cleaning or touching of their junk but no one thought it would be this bad. My brother spent all week and only got through her living room and bedroom and that was with the help of my nephew. Her kitchen, dining room and bathroom are still a mess but she actually went to the dump to try and find her bags of garbage. I don’t think any of us thought that she would go that far. When I say junk, I mean junk. Nothing of any value was touched. So, now we are stuck again with wanting to finish the job but not wanting to rile her up too much. She is in her 80’s but still has a lot of life in her and isn’t going to let us do anything. The other sad thing is that she will not want to leave the house for fear we are going to do the same thing again. My sister wants all of us siblings, grandchildren etc to sit down and try to talk with her but right now she is just too angry. There is no easy answer.
The one positive thing to come out of it was that my brother is now cleaning his house. He isn’t a hoarder but he is pretty messy and he and my nephew live together with one upstairs and the other downstairs. His place was getting pretty dirty so he has worked on his place for about a week now and it making good progress.

The last makeup look I loved was last week when I used the Maybelline Burgundy Bar – the Champagne shade on the lid, the shimmery taupe on the lower lid and the plum shade in the middle of the lid for a pop of colour. I paired it with MAC Fresh Moroccan.

I just put on the Cle de Peau older 4 color– gold and burgundy palette today.
The shades are like butter and blend so well. I put the burgundy in the outer corner and the crease and softened it out– and then covered the inner three quarters of the lid with the warmest gold shade. Added a pinky dot of the Golden Super Shock and lined and did a soft brow with the Colour Pop Call Me Liner — kind of a plummy brown.

As usual used UD Eden eye primer and IT Concealer. MJ Mascara. A warmish pink Nars blush from a 2018 palette and warm mauve lippie from Dior. Easy pretty look.
