Kaja Beauty Shimmer & Matte Beauty Bento Eyeshadow Trios Swatches
Kaja Beauty Shimmer & Matte Beauty Bento Eyeshadow Trios ($21.00 for 0.09 oz.) are new for summer! Each trio contains two matte eyeshadows and one shimmer shade, which is in contrast to their original, all-shimmer trios. There are four trios, which are swatched in this post — any catch your eye?
Chocolate Dahlia sounds a little boring to somebody who already has a lot of makeup, but what a well-chosen cross-section of browns! I virtually never wear pink tones on my eyes, but this appeals to me.
I’m kind of intrigued by Poppy Champagne as a cheek trio; using a MAC 187 for those deeper tones…
These are a great option for travel and very practical for touch-ups during the day. Although I have most of the colors in other palettes, I would like to swatch Glowing Guava in person, as I love these reddish-brown shades.
These look nice, actually. I hate to even say this, but the packaging is cute.
Glowing Guava’s my fave here, hope it scores well! Love Sparking Rose
Glowing Guava is the one that’s tempting me the most.
I thought Chocolate Dahlia would be boring, but isn’t to me as the browns do not run super warm. I also really like Glowing Guava. Temperature wise, I’m always happiest with shadows which are not too cool nor too warm and both these trios fit the bill.. I’m going to run a dupe check on both, but I might actually end up with one or two, surprisingly.
These all look really good! I like that the shadow finishes and shades are differentiated really well. Chocolate Dahlia would make really great neutral travel trio. One could get at least a couple looks from it, the colors would go with anything, and it’s compact.
I shouldn’t have looked… because unfortunately, I really love all of these. Especially for travel or makeup on the fly.
Hella Azalea, Glowing Guava and Poppy Champagne look great!
Another lovely set of trios, though I do wish they had one matte and two shimmers, rather than the other way around. The Chocolate Dahlia trio seems to be a little patchy though. The Glowing Guava is a bright, lovely set.
Ah man. Kaja is really coming for me! I’ve been all over them since I got the Rosewater Trio. I’ve got my eye on Hella Azalea and Poppy Champagne, but I’ll probably only get Poppy Champagne.
I just ordered Glowing Guava and Poppy Champagne to take on vacation. I think they will be great for travel. Probably could even use a few of these as blushes and possibly highlighters.
How cute are these! I’m actually really liking all four of them, which is rare for me because I don’t like browns in general. Chocolate Dahlia looks like a good neutral that doesn’t run super warm, which is tough for me to find. My favourites are the two brighter trios–I love the contrast of the bright shimmer against the poppy colours.
