I used to covet, and I mean ~C~O~V~E~T~ those roll-up Tarte gel blushes. They were $30 (remember when the economy could support that?!) and I only got one, which I used down to a nub. And now here they are again, but an even cooler brand and even cooler packaging!!!
This is so good. I want all of them.
I’m interested to see how this plays with foundation and setting powders. An oil seems questionable to put on the cheeks. It just doesn’t seem like it will last long or will slip all around. The colors are gorgeous so this does have my attention.
My thoughts too. Definitely need to see reviews.
You summed up my concerns perfectly.
Agreed. Also, I’m not familiar with rice bran oil and will need to research, but these may pose issues for those of us with clog- or acne-prone skin (the ONLY oil I’ve found yet that doesn’t break me out is rosehip, though admittedly I haven’t tried everything).
Jessica, I just got mine today and so far they’re doing beautifully. They’re meant to have a dewy finish, so I won’t be putting powder over them. Oh but the colors are glowy and wonderful.
Thanks for the feedback Saffy! Did you use them over a powder? Or just on top of foundation without a powder used to set it? I have oily skin, so a powder to set my foundation is a must.
Eeeee, I just ordered Halo and Flare! Just what I needed- another hot pink blush and another coral. Maybe one day I’ll try that fabulous Astro, the grape-popsicle-with-goldschlager-flecks one.
Ha! I was a bartender in the late 80’s and your Goldschlager comment sure brought back the memories!
This is an already existing product line, isn’t it? I swatched a couple of this type of blush from Milk back in November, I want to say. Maybe this is a colour extension to the line? Anyway, when I swatched them I did so on the back of my hand and for this type of product it really doesn’t make sense to swatch that way. I am looking forward to seeing your reviews. I am particularly interested in whether they slip and slide around all day or disrupt the base. They are pretty shades, though.
No these are different. These are glow oil as opposed to the the cream lip and cheek they currently carry. I’m really excited to get my hands on this. I don’t know if these are meant to wear with foundation. They might be for a more natural look and glow. More fresh faced than glam look
Thank you for the information. I will have to check them out in person.
Iiiinteresting. Like most multi products, I’m sure this works much better in one area. Still, if the area it works better in is cheeks, I’m intrigued.
I’m really liking what I see as a trend for products that look great over bare skin. I choose to believe that means we’re getting away from very layered makeup looks. I still fully intend to revive my bizarre lip colors, or really strong eye looks once I get past this crunch at work, but I like the idea of going “almost bare” with a wickedly bold lip. 🙂
Putting these on my “must investigate” list.
Oil + foundation = hot mess. Or so I fear? I’ll stick to those Flower Beauty blushes that you are currently reviewing. Even with those, I will start with one just to test how it works over both my regular foundation as well as my bb cream while running errands and such out in our AZ inferno.
These look so pretty and I adore all of Milk’s stick products, can’t wait to see your swatches!
This is certainly an interesting product – hopefully not too oily. The shades are very pretty.
I love these promo pics!! They both look so cute! These all-in-one colors have all ended up too lightly colored on my lips, so I am very hesitant to buy this type of product.
My skin is hella dry so bring on all the oils.
These new Lip & Cheek sticks look beautiful. I have 3 of the original sticks and love them. When I went to Milk’s website to order them, they weren’t there. Do you know where I can get them?
They are available today!
