For spring, Anastasia has launched “The Collection,” which features two sets of products. The first is the Daytime Collection, which consists of an eyeshadow quad and two liquid lipsticks. The lip products ended up being more of a miss for me, as the liquid lipsticks emphasized texture while the glosses didn’t apply as evenly on my lips (plus, they were still described as “full-pigment,” which they weren’t at all!). I think the quads are intriguging, but it’ll largely depend on how you reach for and use makeup and whether you have dupes or not. I do, however, really dig the concept of more curated, smaller launches like this, though!

I also like the idea of a very small, but well thought out collection as it isn’t overwhelming in terms of choices and products.
Personally, I liked the Nightime quad the best and I felt that both quads were quite cohesive, although the Daytime one consisted of very popular shades.
And I loved the Bellini shade, but wish the rating was better.
Every time I see your coffee pictures they look amazing. I remember your post about the coffee machine you bought a while ago. How do you make it besides that? Milk? Sugar? Etc. It looks so creamy and delicious.

I really like these small, tailored releases. The Daytime quad and Bellini both appeal, and are definitely on my list to check out in stores.
I ended up nabbing the sunset quad and have been really pleased with it! The color story grabbed me and I didn’t have any dupes in my collection. That Blue Flash shade is really unique and gorgeous. The Daytime quad didn’t catch my attention at all because it looks so close to the Soft Glam palette and warm shades are a dime a dozen nowadays.
