Butter London Sweetie Shop Collection for Spring 2013
Butter London Sweetie Shop Collection for Spring 2013
Straight from the catwalks, the inspiration for the Sping/Summer 2013 collection emerged from the charming colours and silhouettes of the 50’s-inspired femme fatale. Shades influenced by the soft pastels of cotton candy, milkshakes and macaroons enhance the playful feminine edge. A brilliant sherbet, luxe lemon and peppy violet are paired with an icy mint, rich candy pink and creamy khaki for a statement that’s sweet but chic. “Pops of pastels are iconic for spring and look like candy on the nails,” says Katie Hughes, Global Colour Ambassador for butter LONDON.

I just love spring pastels! These look easily dupable, but I’ll probably stop by Ulta to check them out anyway. I like Jasper in particular.
These colors are cute & sweet, but not very different from anything I already have. Too bad, though, because I love Butter London.
Too sweet for my taste. Not that I am a bad girl, lol, but I like bolder, brighter or darker colors.
Molly Coddled reminds me of Essie’s Play Time. Essie is $8.
Love it!
I’m excited to purchase Fruit Machine & Molly Coddled!
Butter London kills my wallet. I love these colors. Cuppa and Fiver are awesome.
I love all these shades, especially as a collection! They look so pretty together!
The only thing I can say is…I WANT THEM ALL!
*sigh* It’s macarons, not macaroons….
Just copying from Butter London’s press release!
Oh – I know! I would never have commented that way if I thought you wrote it! 🙂
Macaroon is English, Macaron is French, so they’re both correct.
They’re entirely different cookies. The sandwich-like French macaron is more of a meringue cookie, getting its light, airy texture from egg whites. The Southern coconut macaroon, on the other hand, is a hearty lump of confectionry made of shredded coconut and condensed milk.
Nice colors, but there is nothing special about any of them.
They’re pretty, but I have seen colors like these time and again. Butter London can do much better.
