Sneak Peek: Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette Photos & Swatches
Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette
For Spring, Urban Decay Gets Naked and Flushed
Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette ($30.00 for 0.49 oz.) includes a bronzer, highlighter, and blush. The palette is packaged similarly to the Naked Basics palette, but it does not have the slightly rubberized texture of the Naked Basics palette and is instead a hard plastic. I’m in the process of testing the wear of the palette, so you’ll have to sit tight for a review, but to hold you over until the new year (ha, ha!), here are some photos and swatches. Please hold any questions until I have a chance to post the review–thank you!

Okay, I’m sold. I like the tone of the bronzer.
OMG! This is so awesome! I have been looking for a bronzer, highlighter, blush all-in-one.
Sleek put out a set that look promising in the Face Form kits. I’m itching to get those over this as their are 4 shades/tonal ranges catering from fair to deep skin tones.
Those colors remind me of benefit fine-one-one.
Although upon further examination, they really aren’t the same. Fine-One-One has a cooler/pinker blush and a whiter highlight. The “bronzer” is less brown and more of a coral blush. It’s also a cream stick, not a powder compact.
It just has a really similar look.
I agree w Sabriel, it looks like a powder version of the one on one benefit stick. I am sure the colors might be totally different but the concept is the same.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I am so sick of the NAKED thing. Especially since it doesn’t cater to a majority or skin tones. This bronzer wouldn’t be able to serve as contour for many, and the highlighter is way too dark for a lot of people. Same with the NAKED lipgloss and the repetitive NAKED palettes. Good quality like they always provide, but never something truly amazing. Everything is so hyped. The foundation too…it really wasn’t anything special, but slap the work NAKED on it and everyone loves it. Sorry for the mini rant.
im gonna have to TOTALLY agree! i always secretly thought this but nobody ever says it lol. i got both NP’s but it stops there! im like dmn how many neutral aka naked shades do i need? sheesh!! these type of palettes such as “flush” would be good for beginners IMO.
I don’t jump on any product with “NAKED” stamped on it, but I will look at all UD products. This trio may not suit *everyone*, but if UD follows its prior patterns of listening to their market base, I’m sure they will expand the range, if there’s a call for it.
When the masses were up in arms that Naked was “too warm” & “too dark”, they did Naked 2, which was cooler, and included more lighter shades. When that wasn’t good enough, and the people cried out for “more mattes”, and “Naked 2 is *still* too dark”, they released Naked Basics (which apparently is *still* not good enough, and there are people who are still unhappy).
Not every person is going to like every product every brand puts out. We all have our favorites, and there are products & shades that work better for some than others. If a product isn’t right for you, fine-leave it on the shelf for someone who will enjoy it. I have both Naked palettes, and Naked Basics, and I love them all, although they’re far from perfect. However, I chose to buy them for what they are, not for what I want them to be. I knew going in I would likely have to supplement with varying shades & finishes, but I still bought them, and not once did I complain about it. If someone doesn’t like a product, then they simply shouldn’t buy it.
OMG I just died a little. think I know where my Sephora Christmas gift cards are going!
The colors look so light! I get that it’s supposed to be for a natural look, but if a product won’t show up at all, it’s a waste of money for my NW35 skin. I’m very curious to see photos of your look when using the palette and how much product you needed to use!
That bronzer is way too orange for me.
Wow! Urban Decay’s really been pushing out the Naked products lately! First there was the Naked palette, then there was the Naked 2, and then there’s been Naked Skin foundation, Naked Skin Beauty Balm, Naked nail polish, and the Naked Basics palette.
As a pale person who has no desired to be “bronzed”, I’m bummed out that this is mostly a bronzing product. Also, it completely leaves out our dark-skinned sisters once again, just like the naked basics palette. WTF, UD?!
+1 ^^^^
That bronzer looks WAY too yellow for a lot of pale skins, and all of the colors (except maybe the highlighter)are absolutely too pale for for deeper tones. I guess this is aimed for people with very warm, very medium-toned skins?
I’m guessing this is possibly a starting point; find something in the middle, see how it sells & what other skintones may want something similar, and if there’s a strong enough base, then expand the range.
Goodness gracious that bronzer doesn’t only look orange, it IS orange. The naked thing is so over done. They’re coming out with a tinted moisturizer too
Not impressed. They’ve beat this whole “NAKED” thing into the ground and I’m completely sick of it. Plus I HATE it when there isn’t a physical divider between shades in palettes and whatnot. UD needs to get their selves together.
Meh. Sort of reminds me of what Mac did with the Wonder Woman MSFs, but I liked their colours better. Much too warm for me.
I personally don’t see anything wrong with UD coming out with all these NAKED things. That’s their trademark. I love their NAKED palettes, foundation, nail polishes are gorgeous, am excited about the BB cream (already tried the sample size I received), and am excited about this. Love the l/g and l/g pencil in NAKED. I was wondering when they were going to come out with a powder blush. I don’t think these colors were meant to make you look like “Whoa!!! Blush-face!!!” But more natural, hence the palette is called “Naked Flushed”. You can always use a light hand for the bronzer if you’re very fair skinned.
Loreal who owns Lancome which I bought had a blush trio with highlighter, contour bronzer and blush all in one… that one had 6 variety…but this sure reminds how it gets trickle down.
I don’t get the sizes of the colours in this products. Why is the highlighter so tiny? I get that some people put bronzer all over (though I think most use it more sparingly), but no one puts blush anywhere but their cheeks, so why not have a thinner blush? Or have three equal size stripes? I think it would be hard to fit blush brushes in there anyway, if it’s basically credit card sized, so why make the highlighter (the product you’ll most want to diffuse) the smallest section? And the swatches are meh… (Sorry, all those questions are rhetorical)
Ah! This is one thing I never expected! This looks very exciting!
That bronzer just doesn’t appeal to me! However, people act like the Naked thing is a temporary thing and UD is just milking it. I’m pretty sure that with palettes, foundation, and their new “BB cream”, it’s not a temporary thing.
….i thought that was an orange blush
oh dear
I just wanted to say thank you thank you, THANK YOU for all of your hard work and dedication to what you do Christine! You just keep getting better and better. I hope you have a wonderful New Year, and I look forward to everything you have in store for 2013!
Thank you so much, Heather! Happy new year 🙂
I think that bronzer on my olive skin would turn me into an Ooompa Ooompa. o_O
For the price, I’d rather get one of Sleek’s Face Form palette & an extra Blush by 3!
EW. They need to go back to the drawing board with this mess.
I wonder if this bronzer would show on my skin =\ I think its pretty actually..
I agree withbeveryone. The whole Naked thing is waaay overdone. That bronzer makes me think of Oompa Loompa, blush nothing special. I’ll pass on this. Not looking forward to any Urban Decay releases anymore. Same eyeshadows, same colors all the time. They have nice products but if you have 2 palletes from them you pretty much covered their brand because colors too alike.
Milk it, Urban Decay, milk it. I will admit, it does look neat. It wouldn’t go well with my tone.
I like it. The bronzer doesn’t look orange on Christine’s skin. I think the trio is lovely and although I really don’t need it, it’s something I’d likely snag.
It’s nice, but it’s way, way too warm for my skin tone judging from the swatches. That blush also has me concerned. It looks a bit dry from the swatch alone. Here’s to hoping that’s just an initial impression.
OMG that’s SO overpriced! Buy the Sleek one for 1/3 of this price! It is very beaultiful and very pigmented. And there are others at the drugstore with better price and quality. The Naked palettes have reasonable value. But this is disappointing!
Meh. Bronzer is too orange.
The packaging is cheap looking and ugly, the colours are meh. Same goes to the new Naked palette. I like bright colours instead of neutrals anyway and have enough Naked palettes already.
Blush looks pretty (but hopefully dupe-able) the highlighter looks so-so, but that bronzer is a disaster!
Looks like a nice addition to the Naked family but eagerly waiting for your review. The blush looks satiny or maybe possibly even matte which, if it were, would be awesome!
Hello Christine
First of all I want to wish you a happy new year, I hope this upcoming year will be full of success for you and your beloved one.
I have to say I’m hoping you have somehow this post programmed and that you are so hungover you are still asleep LOL but I actually have a question for you, I just noticed your last couple post don’t have~ a grade, am I blind? or are you just going to stop giving one, it would be a shame because I do base a lot of my purchased on them but I know I just might be missing them.
Thanks!
LOL, not quite! The products were delivered yesterday, and I was like, “Ooh, Urban Decay, yeah, I’m going to need to photograph this, STAT!”
I don’t give grades on sneak peeks, since they’re not reviews – I put them up so you guys can see photos/swatches right away while I spend a little longer testing and playing with the product! Generally, we don’t give out grades for hair care, skin care, tools (like brushes), and some multi-tasking products (like glitters).
Why bronzer? I hate the stuff. Might try it in person to see if it will work as a eye-shadow, but otherwise I’ll have to pass. Maybe they’ll do a combo cheek, eye, lip palette….
i think it’s so cute but expensive!! i’m not sure if i will buy it or not. have to see it in person…
