Monday–Friday, my makeup is geared toward the office, staying pretty much the same except for the lipstick, which varies pretty widely. On the weekend, it depends on my plans, so it can go from natural to 1990s and anything in between!
How long does it usually take for you to do your makeup? 15 to 30 minutes, depending on what I’m doing.

It would average 6-7 times, depending on my schedule. During work week I wear make-up everyday. If I go to events (concert, opera, musical, etc.) or visit museums or things like that during weekends, I’ll wear make-up on weekends too. If I go for a hike and/or just do errands, I might skip make-up during weekends; but sometimes even when I go for hikes and I do a less intensive one I would wear foundation, mascara and a brow gel.

Definitely yes. Because if I go to an event, it’s a more bold look than I would wear to work; but if I just do errands/walk, it’s more natural / light than I would wear to work.

Between 5 and 15 minutes, depending on the look. But definitely no more than 15 minutes (and that’s with a more complex eye work and maybe some liquid liner)… I personally just don’t get how/why people would spend more than 15-20 minutes for make-up, but to each their own. 😀 When I get my make-up professionally done I just hate when they take 30+ minutes, I’m fidgeting like crazy and want to hurry the make-up artist.

How many times do you wear makeup in a week (on average)? I would say 5 or 6 times a week. I try to have one day on the weekend that I go barefaced and just do skincare.
Does your makeup vary from the week compared to the weekend? I tend to be more colorful and creative during the week and wear lighter, more natural makeup during the weekend. Which is weird because I have a regular 8-5 desk job. Thankfully my work has never had a dress code that involves makeup standards so I can get a little bold with my look when it strikes my fancy.
How long does it usually take for you to do your makeup? It depends on the day. Usually a half hour? But that seems to have lengthened the past couple of months as I’ve been really enjoying the process of getting ready in the morning and I’ve been getting up a little earlier so I can take my time.

Does your makeup vary from the week compared to the weekend? Throughout the week I work in an office so my makeup is typically very light and natural looking. One weekends I only wear makeup if I am going out but I usually just do a little bit extra on my eyes. I’m not into bright colours like I used to be, but I do use a lot more glittery shades than I used to (especially the lime green duochrome from the ND Gold palette!!)
How long does it usually take for you to do your makeup? On workdays, usually about 15 minutes. On weekends or when I am going out, I like to take my time because I really enjoy it so it’s usually about 45 mins-1 hour.

How long does it usually take for you to do your makeup? – I have to juggle kids in the morning, so often about 20 minutes for hair and makeup. I spend a great deal of the evening on skincare instead.
How many times do you wear makeup in a week (on average)? It depends on how lazy I am and what I’ll be doing. I’ve gone a week or two without… but then there are weeks, like this week, where so far I’ve worn a bit every day because I was excited about getting some new lip liners and I don’t like the look of only lips being done without any other face makeup.
Does your makeup vary from the week compared to the weekend? Absolutely. If I’m going out on Friday or Saturday night then absolutely – time to play with that makeup. If I’m just going to a horse show or working in the barn then I don’t wear any on weekends. Whether or not I do anything during the week just depends on if I want to sleep a little bit longer… sleep usually wins.
How long does it usually take for you to do your makeup? For a weekend I am notorious for taking my time to get ready because it is my makeup play time. I’d estimate at least 45 minutes just for makeup because I like to try new things out. I can easily take more than that if I’m playing with colors or new products. For work I can do a quick foundation, under eye concealer, blush/bronzer, mascara and lips in about 15-20 minutes depending on if my skin wants to cooperate. I tend not to do eye shadow during the week because I over think it and it takes me forever because my perfectionism comes out with that.

My normal full face takes about 20 – 25 minutes, including choosing shades, priming and waiting for my mascara to dry, etc. Maybe an extra 10 minutes if I’m going to fluff around and be super pedantic with my blending and layering. Being super blind without my specs means I have to do things in a particular order so I can actually see what I’m doing, otherwise I’d probably get it done quicker…

I work Monday through Friday, and have a pretty standard “work face”. Minimum of foundation, mascara and tinted lip balm.
I’ll usually do blush and eyeshadow too, unless I’m seriously low on time. Eyeshadow is usually a neutral “safe for work” look, or something that matches or compliments my outfit. Light shimmer on the inner corner, a neutral transition shade, pop of color on the lid, and a darker matte on the outer corner/lower lash line.
On the weekends I usually don’t bother with makeup at all (I’m a boring homebody), and focus on skincare instead.
Or, I’ll go ALL OUT and practice bold lipsticks, and more developed eye-shadow looks or editorial looks I just don’t have time for on a weekday morning. Nothing like doing laundry and steam mopping my floors looking like I’m in a music video.
It’s nice to take the time to practice/experiment with new colors/combos/techniques – the more I can practice on the weekends (or weeknights) the more likely I am to incorporate it into my week-day morning routine.

On a weekday morning, it takes me about 20-25 minutes before I have to rush out the door. Ideally I’d like to spend 30-40 minutes to really get the look I want, and to have time to do my brows.

Does your makeup vary from the week compared to the weekend: I’m not currently working or into any social scenes, so makeup is purely for my own amusement. (Okay, it’s a little to seek my cool little sister’s approval.) There’s really no division between weekdays and weekends in terms of style.

None of the looks I do are all that complicated, and I don’t do a lot of the standard steps (feeling comfortable in foundation is nigh-impossible for my neurodivergent self). However, my fine motor skills just aren’t there yet with eyeshadow.

How many times/week do I wear makeup: It goes in spurts. Since I am retired it really depends on what I am doing that week. I rarely put makeup on if I am just staying home all day but I almost always wear makeup when I am leaving the house, even if it is just to go to the dump!! I would say on average, 3-4 times per week.
Makeup vary from weekday to weekend: No not really since I am retired. It varies more by my mood and the time I have to apply it and not the circumstances or day of the week.
How long does it take: I can do it in about 15 minutes and end up with a look that I can wear out in public but realistically it takes me about 40 minutes with most of that being prepping my skin and blending e/s. I use to spend a lot of time on my eyebrows because they are the most challenging to get right but I have recently accepted that nothing was going to make my brows look great so now I use a couple of products and just do the best I can with what I have to work with. Mascara is usually pretty time intensive for me because I frequently where 3 different mascara’s and by the time I curl, apply the mascara’s, comb out any clumps and then apply another coat to put back what I took out getting rid of clumps, a lot of time has passed.

I tend to just have fun with makeup if I am not planning on going out, keep it a bit simpler for errands, more involved but natural looking for appointments and full-on for social occasions.

My preferred way though is to really take my time and enjoy the process. I can easily take over an hour if I am watching videos, swatching/comparing shades and formulas and experimenting with colors and looks.

I usually only wear it on the weekends. I want to wear it during the work week but I get up at 4:30 in order to leave by 5:30 and don’t want to sacrifice sleep to put it on. I really love make up and wish I had time to wear it every day. So good skincare and sunscreen takes me about 5 minutes.
