Dior Grand Bal False Eyelashes Quick Review & Photos
Dior Gold Crystals False Eyelashes
Grand Holiday Lashes
Dior Grand Bal False Eyelashes ($28.00/pair) come in two styles with two shades each. The first pair are adorned with either silver or gold crystals, while the second pair has three “pearls” on the outermost portion of the lash in either silver or gold. Â Both styles are rather dramatic, as the first pair flares out with a wide, feathery look, while the second style is thicker, heavier-lidded. Â These had good flex, bend, and can be trimmed easily. Â Dior includes glue with each pair, and the glue didn’t take too long to become tacky, and it held the lash in place well. Â I haven’t used these in a real look yet – only played with them on bare lids, so no pictures to share of them being worn at this time (hence, quick review).

The look perfect for Christmas
I thought you were going to review the lashes. I was prepared to be interested, since I don’t think I’ve ever seen you in false lashes. You didn’t even wear them on your wedding day (I too skipped falsies on my big day. They wouldn’t play nice with my birdcage veil).
Though I’ve gotten better, false lashes are nottt my forte at all. I didn’t want to deal with worrying over them for the wedding! I’m also that person who doesn’t like wearing them (and I’m sure, if I wore them all the time, I’d get used to them), because I can feel the band on my skin and the weight of the lashes. I always end up taking them off after an hour or two even when someone else has done a pro job applying them to me!
I hear you, Christine. I find falsies uncomfortable. And they kept getting mashed up with my veil. I ended up just trying to get my natural lashes to look as nice as possible.
I’ll keep these in mind next time I’m singing Cleopatra at the Met.
I am a sucker for blingy eyelashes. Though $28 seems a bit steep when I am used to buying blingy Ardell lashes from Sally’s.
The Pearl Drops sort of make my heart go pitter patter! So simple and elegant but still fun! Really perfect for the holidays…but $28 for a pair of falsies is a little steep to say the least…
Wow these are so pretty! I was thinking about getting into flash lashes, what would you say are some of the most natural looking lashes from MAC?
I know 7s are really popular!
they’re beautiful, though i would never spend this much money on a pair of falsies.. (mostly cause i don’t wear them 😛 )
I’m pretty sure that these won’t fit on my small Asian eyes and I’d have a really hard time trimming them. I like the second pair better, but I’d have to cut them from the inner corner and it would probably mess up the shape of the lashes.
You could cut them in 1/2, then snip each side from the “inside”. Cutting false lashes in 1/2 or 1/4 also help in “shaping” the lashes to fit more naturally. Of course, I’d practice first with an old pair (or cheaper ones)…
I’d love to see what these look like on!
