- Haul/Rediscoveries: I always end up so busy managing and scheduling and tending to the Black Friday/Cyber Monday post that I forget to shop at all.
- Weekend plans: My mother-in-law and one of my brother-in-laws are visiting for Thanksgiving, so I’ve been getting up a bit earlier to put in a few hours of work before they wake up so I can spend more time with them.
- What’s your hot drink of choice?: On the daily, a latte. Special occasions? I love a good apple cider or hot chocolate!

Haul/Rediscoveries: Haul … I went ahead and got the ColourPop Chasing Rainbows eyeshadow palette, as well as some more eye stuff – I Like You, Let Me Pass, Bubble Bee, Hallucinogenius; face stuff – Between the Sheets, Guilty Pleasures; lip stuff – Bit-O-Sunny, Liquid Courage, Still Crazy, Check Please; last, I got two of the No Filter Foundation Stix (05W and 25W) so as to have a more medium coverage foundation for my light makeup days. Rediscovery … I sorted my single loose powder indie eyeshadows by base color, and so refamiliarized myself with my stash (I have a lot of great colors that I need to dive back into!). The one I wore after my organizing effort was Here I Stand from Shiro.
Weekend plans: it’s all up in the air
What’s your hot drink of choice?: Coffee with cream, or coffee black; If I’m feeling super special, I’ll do coffee with Bailey’s
Between the Sheets is one of my favorite blushes! I hope you enjoy it!
I love the shadow of the happily wagging tail!!!
Haul: Nothing this week.
Weekend plans: Chores, reading a book, watching Netflix, just relaxing in general. Also, planning an upcoming trip to Orlando, where I will shop at the exclusive Guerlain and Givenchy boutiques in Epcot and the giant Sephora store in Disney Springs!!
Favorite hot drink: Latte (no sweetener)
Haul/Rediscoveries: This is like over a months worth of purchases. lol

What’s your hot drink of choice?: Actually started to drink lattes without sugar or flavoured (First Pumpkin Spiced Latte ever lol ). But Hot chocolate is still king for me. lol
Happy late Thanksgiving! And thank you for all that you do for us visitors. 🙂
My hauls probably sound boring, but are pretty much things needed around the house or used by the family year round. Things like supplements, vacuum bag rolls, Container Store stuff, ghee, sun hat, etc. The only non-necessity type item was Coloured Raine Queen of Hearts palette, although I got mad at myself that I forgot to use your affiliate link. I do remember using it at Nordstrom though, so maybe that helps make up for it! 🙂
Weekend plans are to basically continue shopping online off and on for other things on the list, and in between, watching Netflix or taped shows. I may venture out to the mall this afternoon, but haven’t decided.
My favorite and pretty much only hot drink I have is black coffee in the morning. I like homemade collagen-rich broth every once in a while, but haven’t had the urge to make it for a while.
Wow, that black cherry is SO cute!! But not as cute as Mellan!
*Haul (20% off) – J. One Red Jelly Pack – this is like the original formula but on steroids –more hydrating and thicker, tackier. Testing on my dry under eyes for winter. Huda New Nudes –wow, I can see why everyone’s been raving about this! She has reformulated, and for the better. The mattes are still a bit powdery but so much smoother and creamier, the metallics more refined. And a fresh color combo -dusty mauves/plums, not the usual warm browns/oranges. This will be versatile year round. Play! By Sephora – The Good Stuff – mini sizes of Tarte lipstick in Salt Lyfe, Tarte blush in Paaarty, Fresh Sugar Lip Balm, Jose Maran Whipped Argan Oil Face Butter, Tarte Cleansing Gel, Boscia Matcha Mask (thought this was a total steal at $8)
*Weekend -enjoy the rain and fresh air, clean house, test/sort stash, catch Black Friday sales online
*Hot jasmine black tea
Katherine, I now have all the encouragement I need to dip into my own Huda New Nudes palette, all thanks to your comment on it! I’ve been dying for a mauvy/plummy eyeshadow palette that runs neither too cool nor too warm, because it will enhance the green in my eyes. This certainly looks to be it!
Please send us some of that wet stuff that falls from the sky! I am so jealous of anyone getting rainy days, lol!
Aww! I love this little video of him playing with that giant UD cherry! Secretly hoping that Mellan did get the now empty cherry to play with?
Haul: Last Saturday I picked up Huda New Nudes palette, YSL Black Opium Nuit Blanche perfume, and redeemed 500 pts for the Moroccan Oil kit. Also placed one order with the 20% for my HG Ole Henriksen Truth Serum, and a 2nd order last night for the 12 Oz tub of FAB Ultra Repair Cream, Philosophy cleanser, and the Bare Minerals Lunar Lights Nude Gen duo, all 3 with the Black Friday deep discount. Ordered the Queen of Hearts Palette from Coloured Raine last Sunday (took me long enough!). And as I write this, I have my strange namesake lipstick from Nars in my cart. Originally only went on that site for that lipstick, but haven’t hit “place order” yet because I am debating whether to add the Provacateur palette and whatever else to hit $75 so I can also nab the 3-piece set….silly, I know. It would be dipping further into my moving $’s and couch $’s. Also, questioning how much usage would I *realistically* get out of Nancy? ?
Weekend plans: Other than possibly attending a one day Assembly down in Casa Grande on Sunday, nothing really.
Favorite hot beverage: Ooh, that very first dip of coffee in the morning tastes like my power elixir of the day. For something a bit more special; Starbucks Peppermint Mocha or Toasted White Chocolate Mocha! (I obviously love mocha, haha!)
That Huda New Nudes palette was just made for you Nancy!
Thank you, Genevieve! I think this is a winning palette for anyone with any shade of green, blue-green or hazel eyes! ?
Haul/Rediscoveries
– Hauls: purity cleanser by philosophy and a mini elson lipstick by PMGL (both from the sephora black friday sales)
– Rediscoveries: nothing new lately, I’ve really tried to pare down my collection so I have less to “rediscover” because I’m always trying to fully use my collection (at least, that’s the goal).
Weekend plans: Visiting a family member in the hospital 🙁
What’s your hot drink of choice?: I only ever drink water on a daily basis. A couple times a year I might have a tea (never coffee), but most days water is all I have.
Haul/rediscoveries: I needed a new jar of MAC Painterly and Naked pigment so the 25% off sale made it irresistible; Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre (my 3rd tube) and I decided to try their eye cream (so far, so good); Avene Spray Body Oil (another repurchase), Nuxe body lotion (I was given a sample the other week and love how it makes my skin feel; it’s so much easier to use than their blocky, clunky spray oil bottle), Origins A Perfect Day face cream (the one with SPF) and also their eye cream (also with SPF). I also bought a bottle of the Tiffany fragrance my daughter likes as part of her Xmas present (SDM has their bonus redemption so it was basically “free”). Rediscoveries: my Foreo facial cleansing “gizmo” – I’d put it aside for a few weeks and after using it last night, all I could think was “Why did I stop using this?”; MAC Sweet Satisfaction Pro Longwear eyeshadow (I miss those original Pro Longwear shadows SO MUCH)
Weekend plans: our floors are being redone so I’ll just be happy if I can get from my family room to the upstairs (the hall floors are part of the restoration) but I will go to the gym tomorrow; I also want to start planning the Xmas meals (I know it’s early but what can I say?)
Favourite hot drink: coffee (almost any kind – latte, flat white, cafe au lait, plain ol’ coffee with cream); mulled wine and mulled cider.
I am a great coffee lover too.
Well, I received my Sultry palette this week for my birthday and it is splendiforous! I so, so love it and can see why you do too.
And those ColourPop Brown Sugar lipsticks go with it so well.
Best of luck with your floors Mariella, it is a mammoth job and can take awhile. Are you getting your floorboards revarnished?
I’m with you on planning the Christmas meals – working out the menu and purchasing the ingredients takes time and money, if you can get a bit each week it all becomes much more manageable.
I am so glad you love Sultry too, Genevieve, and a happy birthday to you! After several ABH palettes that were absolute “no’s” for me, it’s so nice to see Sultry be a definite “yes”!
We’re having the floors re-done….they are too lovely to replace (oak with ornate black walnut inlay, and original to this house). So it’s an ongoing and messy process as we’re having several layers of urethane (or whatever it is they use) put on to keep them in good shape.
I certainly am pleased that, at last, there was a palette that I could be excited about and Sultry fits that bill easily.
Thank you for my birthday wishes, you are a dear friend.
Your origninal floor sounds beautiful and having the several layers of protecting urethane will add many years to their life – although it is an awful process.
????:
*Bad Habit Beauty — Pretty Poison Eyeshadow Collection.
*Target — Pacifica Coconut Probiotic Water Rehab Cream.
*Amazon — Divina Beauty Microfiber Face Washcloth 6 pack.
??????? ?????: Put up the Christmas tree; cyber-shopping.
????’? ???? ??? ????? ?? ???????: Tea
I love tea as well – my preference is for Lemon Scented, Decaffinated and just plain old black team
I love all kinds of teas, especially black teas. My favorites are orange spice, lemon ginger, chai, and mint. I adore the gingerbread tea from Teaman (on Etsy). I love iced teas, too.
No Lipton tea, though. Yuck.
Haul:
YesStyle: Heimish Bulgarian Rose Water Hydrogel Eye Patches, BBIA Glitter Eye Liner in 01 Aurora, BBIA Lipstick in 04 Classy, Tata Shop Nail polish remover pen, Missha Time Revolution First Treatment Essence (back ups x 2 so that I don’t have to pay for express shipping when I realize I am almost out!!) and Memebox Pony Shine Easy Eyeshadow palette which is a small palette with 4 shades of neutral browns and beiges for an easy travel palette plus I have wanted to try her eye shadows. I do know that Korean eye shadows and makeup in general is not as pigmented as Western eyeshadows so just curious about these.
Sephora: Sadly, I placed another order after the sale!! What is wrong with me? It seems like I always forget something and then have to go back and pick it up so I have to be better about keeping a list for the next sale. Anyway, I ordered every single Marc Jacobs SeeQuins eyeshadow. This was not what I forgot to order but after having purchased and used the one I wanted them all. I needed to purchase a Blithe product that I missed when I did my big skin care haul. I wanted to try the InBetween Hydro Priming Gel.
Ulta: Tula Purifying Face Cleanser and Tula Exfoliating Face Mask. The cleanser is a purchase based on the use of a deluxe sample which came when I purchased the Tula 10% PH Resurfacing Gel. I had purchased this the day I returned from Europe to use while I decided what I was going to do about skin care and really liked it so while I ordered the Farmacy Honeymoon Glow to replace my Good Genes, I use this in the morning. My face really loves acids, as I have mentioned before, and so using two or three doesn’t seem to bother it.
I also purchased a new blood sugar monitoring system that works without having to poke my finger. I don’t mind giving myself insulin injections but the finger poking is by far the worst part of the process and if you have to do it several times a day the ends of your fingers get pretty sore. I haven’t received this yet but am anxious to see how it works.
Weekend plans: On Sunday my daughter and I are headed to the big town of Sandpoint, Idaho to do some Christmas decorating shopping. We haven’t put up a tree in several years because it was always a disaster with our cat and even though we tried different recommendations to keep her away from the tree, it just didn’t work. This year I have decided to put a tree on top of a large wood and glass secretary/curio cabinet and then I am going to suspend one from the ceiling, just a small one. So, we need a few things to decorate them with.
Hot drink of choice: I don’t think I have one as I will go in spurts drinking coffee, lattes, tea etc. I will drink that exclusively for awhile and then move on to something else. It doesn’t seem to be weather dependent but rather just a natural desire or “taste” for something different.
** I am taking advantage of this space to ask a question. I am wondering if any Temptalia readers have used any products from Thrive Causemetics? I am curious about the mascara, powder and eye liner. Just wondered if anyone had experience with these products, the brand or have any other input? Thank you.
I’m still rationing out that Huckleberry tea you sent me – it’s perfect for this time of year 😀
I am glad you are enjoying it. It is nice with a little honey. Sounds like you are having a wet spring down there. We have just started to have cooler weather and my new propane heater is getting a work-out but my house feels warmer than it has since I purchased the house and the propane is so much cheaper than the electric heat I had. I always think that when I am complaining about the cold that I will wish it was cooler when summer comes around as I don’t have air conditioning. Luckily, our summer’s up here are pretty mild but you have some pretty hot summer’s down there. Hope all is well with you and that you have had a nice holiday season so far.
Your cat will be in wonder when you put up the tree suspended from the ceiling – she will think that you are playing a trick on her!
Good luck with your decorations shopping, it’s such a fun thing to do with your daughter.
Haul: I got stuff from Sephora. I got DE Protini, DE C-Tango, and Ceramic Slip. I Just decided to get more due to the extension of the sale. I got TF Jordan, Dr. Jart Tiger Grass Repair Balm, and Farmacy’s Sleep Tight.
Weekend: I’m at work right now on my lunch and it’s really busy. I’m so done. I’ve put up some stuff out for Christmas. I have a full day tomorrow too!
Hot drink: CHAI! Cider is my back up.
Haul: From Sephora: Too Faced Better than Sex mascara, Lavanilla sport luxe deodorant. From Ulta: Burt’s Bees lipbalm (5), Burt’s Bees brightening moisture cream, Andalou Naturals pumpkin honey glycolic mask. From MELT: Last Kiss lipstick, Mixtape eyeliner, Nevermore blushlight.
Weekend Plans: Picking up my cats ashes & urn.
Hot Drink of Choice: Black coffee every day, hot cocoa as a treat.
Oh no, Alice! I am so sorry for your loss of your kitty. *hugs*
Thank you. *hug*
Alice, I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your fur baby.
Thank you.
So sorry to hear Alice of your darling cat’s passing.
Thank you.
Love & sympathy for the loss of your cat – I lost one of mine at the end of September and his ashes are in an engraved wooden box on the mantelpiece. I’m so sorry. (internet hugs you very gently)…
Thank you *hug* we bought a large ceramic urn that looks like a black cat sitting on its haunches, so when her brother passes we can put them together.
Haul: Some Korres mini shower gets and body milk sets (for gifts), Colourpop Disney Princess & Brown Sugar palettes, Boo lipgloss, some empty eyeshadow palettes, Origins drink up intensive overnight mask (again) and I’ve ordered some of the new Colourpop Not a Dream collection liglosses, Dream Sequence and glitter gels but they haven’t arrived yet.
Weekend plans: NOTHING. The forecast is for rain all weekend and I don’t have anywhere to be so I am going to cocoon myself in bed with my laptop and some books and then maybe have a bubble bath. I have a wedding to attend next weekend, so I might organise my frock, hat, purse and shoes for that but that’s about as strenuous as I plan to get 😉
Hot drink of choice: Strong black coffee in the morning, green or peppermint tea in the evening.
All I can say CeeBee is that in Melbourne, we have had nothing but rain and freezing weather for the past few days. No such luck in putting away my winter woolies.
Best of luck getting a wedding outfit – my son and daughter in law are going to one next Tuesday (the only date available at the venue of choice for the bride) and Anika had quite a time trying to find the perfect dress. Apart from that, our weather has been hot or warm and humid for a few days, cool to cold for a few days and repeat. So it has been really hard to know what kind of dress to buy.
Thanks Genevieve – fortunately I already have the perfect dress (actually I have two the same, just in different patterned fabrics)… it’s a cuffed half sleeve V neck with a fitted waist and a flared skirt that hits just below the knee. I have a frilled petticoat that I can wear beneath it too. So tights, high heeled boots and a faux fur shrug if it’s cold or strappy sandals and chandelier earrings if it’s warm! I bought them earlier this year and they are the perfect dress to wear just about anywhere, easy to dress up or down!
Haul (I’m supposed to be on a No-Buy, but some of these sales broke me, lol):
Kevyn Aucoin NudePop palette (20% off)
Dose of Colors: Marvelous Mauves & Pretty Cool palettes & Muah! lip gloss (40% off) Colourpop: Ellarie Pencil Lippie Pencil, Brick, Cinnamon, Chocolatier, Snow White, & Tiana Creme Lux Lipsticks
SokoGlam: COSRX Vitamin C Serum (30% off – replenishing)
Peach & Lily: Peach & Lily Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream, Aromatica Tea Tree Balancing Toner (30% off – replenishing, plus 2 free sheet masks)
I ordered the Smoke Sessions and then immediately canceled my order from Melt Cosmetics. I decided that I truly didn’t need it. If I change my mind and it’s still available in 2019, then I will consider it, but I really only want 4 of the 8 shades.
Weekend Plans: Currently I am at work, lol. But Saturday my nephew turns two and we will be having a birthday party for him. Sunday, I plan to rest.
Hot Drink of Choice: I drink a lot of hot tea (I am not a fan of iced tea), but I absolutely love hot chocolate. When I need a pick me up, I get a hot chocolate with a shot of espresso. It’s good stuff.
Happy Birthday to your nephew – two is such a gorgeous age and you can really see their personality. I am sure he will love his special day and the presents.
Thank you! He had an absolute blast. Those little legs move fast, lol.
Haul: far too much to list and remember! So, highlights (the other kind!) only. U: Ahava bath salts and coworker gifts. Ulta has left out one thing in each of my last orders, so I did an email. I absolutely detest complaining, ironing things out, and the persistence involved. S: mini Elson and the KB play minis; I already like most. Biggish Zoeva order (I think I woke up from my exhaustion nap right when it was starting; no wait, piece of cake.) Colorful eye palettes, brushes, and various liquid lips. I actually prefer the Zoeva 101 face definer to Wayne, It, or RT for Meterorites or other face finishing. Nars: Provocateur, and a couple of Powermattes. As they were OOS on Hot Tryst, which I figured I would rue, if I miss, so Nordie’s: Hot Tryst and replacements for a couple of old Nars l/s that have seen better days. There’s a gift bag, but Nars is not in the BF sale. Soko Glam: Cosrx that isn’t on Ulta and Acwell licorice mist. Paula re-ups and 2 news. I needed an azelaic, and that has been touted here (thanks, guys) and the pore puffing serum. Somehow that strikes me as possible puffery, pun intended. Despite all of that, I believe I spent far less, at least on Nars and Zoeva, than in the past few years. Cutting down on color. Can I be tangential and whine out loud about non-cosmetics? My best sweatshirt went up to 108$. No typo. Went up by 30, I think. I am so offended, that even if they do a BF, won’t play. That is horrendous. All cotton, USA, and GFY, American Giant!!!!
Plans: My neighbors dropped their Shih Tsu on me at the last minute. She’s a good girl, but won’t eat dog food at my house, and her fork skills for turkey aren’t close to my dogs’. But she whines constantly, if she doesn’t eat, so…practicing fork is in. She is too rough, and mildly confused to give her pieces by hand and usually deselects turkey and rice in a bowl. Hope the tryptophan works! I have taken care of things I hate to do, in the complaint dept, leaving beloved Comcast for last. Including AmEx owing me 500$, from 4 years ago. They had no record of me, my social, etc, after they bounced a check to me….Work tomorrow night. Day job was one never-ending computer nightmare this week. Maybe outside with the fellow pup tomorrow. Not the girls. It has been February in November here.
Hot black, dark roast coffee. Fave is Italian Roast, but will do any. Maybe some of you recently read that drinking black coffee is associated with psychopathy. Really???
I hope your babysitting doggie starts eating and calms down.
A lovely haul you have there kjh and that Am Ex refunds your money soon as. Pretty terrible of them.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family and friends.
Mellon is such an inquisitive doggie!
Haul/Rediscoveries: It was my birthday this week (on the 20th) and my son gave me the Anastasia Sultry palette and my oh my, it is far more glorious in person than on any website. Everything about it I loved – so did my daughter in law and Olivia thought it was beautiful too. I have been wearing it ever since.
Lipsticks from ColourPop – the Brown Sugar range – Chocolatier, Cinnamon and Brick as well as Gallop and Liquid Courage.
A half price cosmetic sale from Priceline, a budget beauty shop here in Aus, I purchased the L’Oreal True Match foundation in Porcelain Rose – a great foundation, eye brow pencil and Rimmel’s Insta Matte translucent powder.
Weekend plans: We had a big birthday gathering of the family last Tuesday evening, so this weekend is fairly quiet.
My son and daughter in law are going to a wedding next Tuesday (unusual day to have a wedding), so we will be having the grandchildren all day and probably for the night too.
Hot drink of choice: Definitely either a cappuccino or a cup of tea.
Happy belated birthday! I hope it was wonderful. I’m so glad you got the Sultry Palette. 🙂
Thank you Rachel – I had a great day and a BBQ dinner with my family, including lamb cutlets for the kids (who ate like horses).
My daughter in law made her own carrot cake, my favourite, as a birthday cake, complete with cream cheese icing. It was yummy.
Skintone / coloring : light, MAC NC 15-20, med brown hair and eyes
Haul: Nothing
Rediscoveries: Lancome Highlighter Trio in Rose Twinkle, MAC Holiday 2017 Gold Palette
Weekend Plans : There’s a German Christmas Market they put up Thanksgiving weekend. I’ve never been and I’ll be checking it out tomorrow. See was treats I find:)
Favorite hot drink: Starbucks Egg Nog Latte is a real treat right now. My usual though is their caramel macchiatto
Poor Mellan, foiled again!
Haul/Rediscoveries: At the Bay Gala on Sunday I purchased the Nuface Skin Toner and just used it last night, I won’t notice anything for 5 or 6 wks. I also picked up a couple of Mac lipsticks, Punked Pink and Rave Chic, and A Little Moonlight Eyeliner. I spent close to $75 so I received a bonus eye palette Solar Glow Times Nine which I used one of the gold shadows to wash over my whole lid tonight if my husband ever gets home. We are getting snow and there are accidents everywhere, roads are shut down because a semi turned over. I feel bad for everyone out shopping and trying to get home from work. This is not a night to be out on the roads.
Weekend plans: My husband is going out of town for work tomorrow. I am having a spa day at home after I shovel the snow lol! Then I am trying to fix my sewing machine grrrrr! I will also be watching the Grey Cup Football game on Sunday on TV. It’s being played in Edmonton, our Calgary Stampeders are playing the Ottawa Red Blacks, my husband will be on the road so I will be giving him the play by play. Go Stamps!
What’s your hot drink of choice?: My morning coffee. Special occasions? Spanish coffee without whipped cream and hot chocolate too.
Are you getting snow already? I hope your team wins – always a good feeling.
Genevieve, We had a snow storm on Black Friday, it was a heavy wet snow that turned to ice as soon as it hit the pavement. There were over 300 accidents. I did not go out, I don’t like crowds or lineups at the stores or driving in the snow. I was listening to the radio they were closing roads because of the accidents. I have been in that situation so many times coming home from work, I am so happy to be retired and not having to deal with that any more. I am getting ready to cheer our team on to the Grey Cup. We really need to cheer up our city. The oil prices keep dropping and our economy is in the pits! Are you in an area in Australia that gets snow?
I guess when the first snow hits, it is always a surprise to drivers and there are lots of accidents, but 300 is incredible and I hope that no-one was seriously hurt.
I am retired too and I don’t miss the awful drives home in horrible weather at all. Generally Melbourne, Aus, where I live does not get snow except, perhaps once every couple of years. However I do live close to the mountains in the outer east of the city and they do get snow in winter.
I wouldn’t say our economy is in the pits, but the price of electricity and gas is astronomical and that is putting pressure on lots of households.
Haul: Still looking
Weekend Plans: Now that Thanksgiving is over I plan on spending the majority of the weekend in my PJs!
Hot Drink: A few weeks ago on a whim I put a tablespoon of Ovaltine in my hot coffee and now I’m loving my “faux mocca”
Happy Friday everyone!
Haul: I picked up the mini Pat McGrath Elson and the Bite Beauty minis tin from the Sephora sale. And my awesome partner grabbed the Melt Smoke Sessions palette for me at midnight because I was worried it would sell out before I got up in the morning 🙂 I’m soooo not into pot culture but I am also sooooo into green eye shadows and I love my Gemini palette and I think they’ll play nice together. So excited!
No rediscoveries this week, I didn’t actually wear any makeup at all.
Weekend plans: Hitting up some Small Business Saturday sales and maybe the Geek Craft Expo, plus chores and errands.
Hot drink of choice: TEA! I drink hot tea year-round. This time of year I start to add hot chocolate and cider into the mix too, with or without alcohol. We picked up some brown sugar bourbon from a local distiller and it is waaaaaaay too good in hot cocoa or cider!
AJ, I am a HUGE fan of green eyeshadows and have a ton of them. I just looked up the Melt Smoke Sessions palette and it is sensational! What gorgeous, beautiful shades of green. I hope it comes here to Aus. No wonder you love it.
I know I’m coming a tad late on Saturday, but I definitely did some damage this weekend . . .
Haul: Laura Lee Slay Belle palette, Sweet & Saucy loose highlighter (will probably use as blush), and Nudie Patootie palette (I ordered these last Friday, but I didn’t comment last week), Nabla single eyeshadows in Poetry, Artemisia, Cherie Sharpe, Verve, Blue Velvet, Fahrenheit, and Daphne No2 (last week, same as Laura Lee), Kylie Cosmetics Bronze Extended, Peach Extended, Burgundy Extended, and Halloween 2018 palettes, plus Handsome Devil gloss (I accidentally ordered Bronze Extended instead of Peach Extended, so I placed another order and added the gloss to get free shipping – ridiculous, I know), Dose of Colors Sassy Siennas, Marvelous Mauves, and ILuvSarahii palettes, and KKW Beauty Classic Blossom palette. Plus, got a winter coat, two sweaters, and a button down shirt for my fiance for Christmas/his birthday, an Origins mask for my mom (Xmas), gift cards for both of my parents (Xmas), and some Supergoop sunscreen and First Aid Beauty Moisturizer for me because I was out. My mom also got me a Harry Potter ornament and a star for my Christmas tree (my first on my own), plus she gave me bunch of old ornaments (many of them purchased for me and my brother as children).
Rediscoveries: I wore makeup for the first time in nearly a month yesterday. I basically rediscovered makeup in general . . . sheesh, I’m too busy.
Weekend plans: Went shopping with my mom on Friday. Today, I drove back to my apartment in Dayton from my parents’ house in Youngstown (3.5 hour drive). When I got back, my fiance and I set up our little tree. Now, I’m doing all the school work I didn’t do the last three days. Tomorrow, I have work and I’m helping a professor read essays afterwords, and my fiance and I will possibly go to Mass in the morning if we have time. We normally go in the evenings, but my meeting with the professor will go until evening Mass is halfway over.
Hot drink(s) of choice: Pumpkin spice lattes (basic b*tch alert), hot chocolate (especially with peppermint), chai lattes, hot coffee. I’m not really picky about coffee, so I’ll drink it black, with cream, with flavors, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.
I forgot to add this, but my parents got me a Nintendo Switch for Christmas and I am SO EXCITED.
Also, how could I forget how much I love hot tea??
