This holiay collection looks amazing! But what is in the third photo after ‘see more photos’? That’s the one I’m most interested in!

I adore the look of Bobbi’s palettes, but to be honest, I am afraid to purchase another one. The Desert Twilight palette wasn’t pigmented enough for me. For the price, I find so many other brands are better quality wise. Interested in hearing some reviews on these!

I’m tempted by a couple of the palettes, particularly the one with the mini brushes, but I’m going through a phase of really enjoying Bobbi Brown all over again. Cement, Taupe and Slate are all irreplaceable.

These look nice, but I wouldn’t buy any Bobbi palette without a review. It seems lately her palettes have been lacking in pigment and are fallout city.

The lipgloss and shimmer brick look nice.

I find it so hard to buy palettes, as I always gravitate towards 1-3 products. I also find them overpriced. I was hoping for some rich lip/nail and cream blush shades.

Hello, these pallettes look very nice, but I was so desapointed by the lack of pigmentation of the last I bought that I don’t think I will buy a Bobbi Brown palette again. Even wet it was sheer . Thank you Christine for all your good advises, I’m waiting for your swatches.

Wow. I like a lot of it. I’m most drawn towards the Rich Caviar and the shimmer brick. I’m looking to add a golden highlighter to my makeup collection. I also really want a olive/khaki palette. I wanted the Dior one, but it was a let-down when I tried it in person.

I have always bought up the majority of holiday BB products (for the past 15 yrs or so) but Im less enthused this year. I think that the packaging and pearl graphics make the products look kind of cheap (the makeup is not) I saw it in person at Macys yesterday. The rich caviar palette is pretty. I like the black pearl palette, but only the metallic and sparkle eye colors. I like the shimmer brick. and the atomic pink palette. The bellini palette looks BLAH and faded in person and not holiday worthy. I am usually wary of the sets that mix shadows and panned lip colors! The powder pearl shadow trio is VERY frosty!

I’m curious what the set is with the four mini brushes and nine eyeshadows – is that an actual set, or am I confusing two products?

Rachel Avatar

That seems like the best deal, and the best gift for anyone into makeup. All of the brushes you need for a beautiful eye look and the shadows look phenomenal! I can’t wait to play with the top middle and middle middle in person!

I loved Bobbi’s Chocolate and Warm Holiday palettes in the past. The Desert Twilight palette, which I broke down and bought against my better judgement ( and even the SA’s reticense), had only three usable shades in it. Sparkle may look OK on top of some eye looks, but you do not need three of the same color! Now that Bobbi and many other lines sell palettes that you can personaiize with colors that are perfect for you and that will all be used, it seems silly to waste money on even one pre-packaged palette unless it is perfect for your needs. Also, I no longer trust Bobbi’s colors. I had a very old taupe that was a light brown, loved it. When I re-purchased in the new square tins, it was much grayer. Now with the release of the uber basics line, taupe seems warmer again. Where is the consistency? And why have so many of the neutrals been discontinued? I love the quality of Bobbi’s products and will continue to be a loyal customer, just a more careful one. After all, and I’m sure this is true for many of us, will I ever use all the make up I already have? No, the joy of getting new toys is just too fun. Love experimenting with new colors and textures. So for the sake of the budget, I just have to make sure I don’t waste too much money or bathroom space (which is at quite a premium!)

Bobby Brown is like the tone down version of Nars and the sister-in-law version of Estee Lauder and the hybrid of Laura Mercier and Prescriptives. I am trying to be politically correct….works well with certain skin tones and not with others.

These look so beautiful! I would have really loved the palettes to have less frosty/shimmery colors, but well…however, I do love shimmer on my lips and would have LOVED to see High Shimmer Lipglosses sets – I would have definitely fallen for those.

I love the look of the 9 shadow palette with the brushes but the last BB palette I bought – Stonewashed Nudes – really disappointed me. The colors were so muted, so poor in pigmentation, I couldn’t believe it. I’ve used it a total of 3 times & am always bummed out afterwards. I need to deepen the intensity of all the shades expect the lightest one with other cheaper eyeshadows in my collection. The texture of them is gorgeously smooth with little to no fallout, but that’s not enough to satisfy me. It doesn’t matter which primer or base I use, it doesn’t matter how much I apply or which brushes I use, my eyes always look washed-out when I use Stonewashed Nudes alone. The only thing that I was happy about is that I got the palette for next to nothing, new, through a blog sale. I’ll definitely be checking these products out in store before shelling out even a dime for any of the eyeshadow palettes.

The lip products are another matter altogether. I LOVE Bobbi Brown glosses & lipsticks. They’re the only brand I’m totally obsessed with since first trying them, and the only lipstick brand I’ll now wear. So incredibly moisturizing, hydrating, long-lasting & pigmented (the non-sheer glosses), and her yellow-based shades suit my skin tone perfectly. Likewise for her Rich Color glosses. Nothing I’ve tried compares to them. I had totally sworn off lipsticks altogether & had been hunting for the perfect lipgloss formula for a very long time before trying BB’s.
