ColourPop x Disney Designer Collection Swatches
ColourPop x Disney Designer Collection is a new, limited edition launch that features an eyeshadow palette, six lipsticks, six cream eyeshadows, three lip glosses, and two cream highlighters. It goes live on September 28th! (I don’t have two of the eyeshadows nor the cream highlighters–everything I have is swatched below!)
I thought for sure I didn’t want this, and looking at the palette I still thought it was ho-hum — until I saw the look you created which is so lovely that I may have to reconsider!

The actual performance of the shadows, lipsticks looks incredible — however these shades aren’t what I pictured! Am I crazy? In my mind, the Ariel lipstick shouldve been the shade of her stunning gorgeous red hair. There should be a green/purple shadow devoted to her in the palette. A gorgeous yellow for Belle, a turquoise for Jasmine…I dunno. The quality looks there but the colors are a miss for me.
I felt the same way! It feels like a branding miss to me, and really they were trying to find trendy colors to somehow fit in the theme.
I was thinking this was pretty, but safe but you nailed it. A current color story that misses that Disney magic. If you took away the names you’d never know what the inspiration was!

Decision to make here:
1.) Buy all of it to have it as a special collection, as I learned the hard way that is what I ought to have done with the Aaliyah for MAC collection that I should have bought the vault?
2.) Only get what I know I will get some use out of, but be without the display unit?

I think I will pass on the glosses and the lighter lippies. I definitely want the palette, super shocks, and red lippies! Thanks for the swatches!

Am I still tempted? Yes. It’s nicely put together but so easy to dupe and I refuse to buy something just for the sake of it. I’m torn.

The lipsticks are the only thing that make me think of Disney princesses. The palette color scheme is just… meh… could be anything.
Wow, everything looks really good! The Jasmine lipstick is going to have to be mine! I also want the palette, and the SSS in A Whole New World and Be Our Guest.

Wow those lipsticks are way more vibrant than how they looked in colourpop’s promo pics…I should just be used to colourpop having inaccurate swatches at this point lol
Even though we have seen these kinds of shades many times before from Colour Pop, the eyeshadows look really, really good. And the lipsticks are incredible.
I have no Colourpop beauty products but I’m so tempted by this collection. The ES swatches look amazing.
Oh! The lux lipstick is amazing! I have MAC and UD but I reach for CP’s lux lipstick. I do favor BH eyeshadows over Colourpop in terms of texture, pigmentation and application (BH palettes are on sale in ULTA at the moment.)

I’m getting serious Queen of Hearts vibes from the pallette. Lipsticks look good.
Well I didn’t want this until I saw these swatches! Maybe it won’t review well? Oh, who am I kidding?! I’m probably gonna pick up more than I thought from this collection!
The eye palette swatches look great, and even though I can probably dupe most of them, I simply must get it! These are definitely shades I’d use, and it would be a perfect palette to take on a Disney trip!
I’ve been fairly good on my no buy for the whole year so far. So if I put my hands over my eyes and keep saying I don’t need this, maybe it will just go away and sell out before I break down and buy it. Then I won’t have to worry about it. There, I’ve talked myself out of it!
And here I thought it was Bippity Boppity Boo all these years ? what a cute collection. I usually enjoy their surprise releases.
Sigh…I was sooooooo determined to resist this collection but now…well, I’m probably getting most of it. We’ll just blame my inner Disney child ?

I love the packaging, I love the theme. That is why it will sell like crazy. The palette looks nice but I don’t feel the colourscheme. With the My Little Pony palette I felt some shades didn’t match the colour of the pony they were named after. But I felt it was a fun, colourful palette that fit the theme. I miss the theme here. They could easy called it anything else. The supershocks look more fitting.
I love the colors of the Lux Lips…but think I already have Lix Lips in shades that are very close to those ?. So might just pick up Ariel – don’t think I have that shade yet! (Though Belle is calling me, both because of the shade and because she’s one of my favorite Disney princesses , but the shade looks quite close to Still Crazy, which I already have!)
Thinking of picking up the palette along with it – those shades are ones I’m sure I can dupe between other palettes or singles, so fully admit the packaging is a major draw here haha. And it seems like a very useable palette, plus I love Colourpop’s pressed powder eyeshadow formula, so sure I’d get use out of it regardless!
Belle looks STUNNING on you and it’s my one must-have from the collection! I think I will also get Ariel, So This is Love, and the palette. I thought the palette was a little boring at first but I love the looks you’ve created with it, and I own almost all of CP’s other palettes and love the idea of a Disney collab. It’s like a collector’s item!
I know there are two highlighters as well, gonna try to resist those because I really have toooo many highlighters! I hope Colourpop comes out with a rewards/loyalty program soon… I recently did a review of all my Colourpop orders in the past 12 months and was kind of shocked by how much I spent, buying on a monthly basis because they put new stuff out so often – eek!
Do you know if this collection will be sold at Ulta, as well?
