Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour Relaunches

An alluring statement of elegance, the iconic lipstick ROUGE ALLURE dresses lips with unmistakable attitude. A true symbol of authentic luxury, its sleek signature black column opens with a click…now to reveal a dramatic new formulation for colour that’s radically intense.

New ROUGE ALLURE Luminous Intense Lip Colour represents the next generation of this classic lipstick. Its stunning colour is the result of a concentration of ultra-thin pigments, specially designed to magnify shade intensity. Lighter hues have a unique presence, revealing nuances and depth. Darker tones heighten the drama, with audacity and pure elegance for an ultra-feminine effect. Colour brilliance is only part of the story of new ROUGE ALLURE Luminous Intense Lip Colour. Special hydrating agents and antioxidants, rich in green tea and sappan wood, leave lips supple and protected for lasting comfort, while tea butter ensures colour endures for the ultimate wear.

The new RA are great, I have Pirate / Passion / Inimitable I really love them. They wear long ( a bit drying though ) and pigments are intense.

I’m disapointed! I liked the old formula of Rouge Allure and felt it was vastly superior to Rouge Coco. Chanel has obviously decided to position this lipstick as the thicker, bolder, more ‘intense’ one – as a contrast to Rouge Coco.

There is something about Chanel lipcolor that if you are able to find the right shade it is incomparable. I have about 100 lipsticks in my collection and countless glosses…etc. But, with the right shade Chanel lippies put every other to shame. There is a light within quality that is just breathtaking that I have never been able to duplicate in any other brand. Just amazing.

I just wish there were more neutrals or “quieter” colors in this launch. There aren’t that many shades I’m interested in, and of the few I am, I tried one on and was less than thrilled with how it looked on me. Sigh.

I have 3 of these in orange, bright pink and a nude pink. I love all 3. They’re gorgeous, last for hours, totally pigmented and they don’t try my lips out at all. Bravo Chanel. My favorite Chanel lipsticks by a mile.

Christine.. I just cannot wait your review on all the ‘reds’ of this line.. wonder how they will compare to the discontinued ‘dragon’!

Some of these colors look really appealing (and I may finally pick up Rouge Noir after all these years!)… I wonder how different the formula will be from the past Rouge Allure line. I really liked the old Rouge Allures and I hope these are just as nice!

I picked up Pirate and Passion this weekend. These lipstIcks are absolutely gorgeous!!!!! I wish they would have back Dragon but I think Passion is the closest to Dragon. I’ll definitely be rocking the red lipsticks this season.
