Ive been debating about this today ( the compact). Gold isn’t my color but sometimes Mac’s descriptions are off. I want it for the pretty packaging but if I can’t use it I won’t get it.

I only trust Christine’s descriptions of color —always spot on.

I love these guys and I’ve been watching their shows for years. Their Spring 2016 collection is one of my faves. They really run a sparkly fashion house and I think that the packaging could have been more in line with their fashion emblem. I’ve check the MAC site and I would have preferred the multicolour reflective design on the box to be on the lipstick cap/gloss. There is some sparkle at the bottom but it could have been more, imo.

I have always looked forward to MAC’s holiday collection. I am truly surprised by this blond collection. This collection excludes many people. Being blond is not the rule it is an exception; For centuries blue eyes and blond hair was an anomaly.
For the first time since I have started wearing make up I am not enthusiastic about this collection.
I do not if this is good or bad.

The Blonds is the name of the fashion house created by David & Philippe. MAC’s collection just points out this collaboration. If one designer dyes his hair blond and the other wears a blond wig, this does not mean they exclude people. They collaborated extensively (designed corsets) for Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga among others.

Am I alone in feeling annoyed by holiday stuff coming out in September? I can handle Halloween products on sale in September, but not holidays that are three months away. At least wait till hurricane season is over!

That said, nothing in this collection is grabbing my interest. And that makes my wallet smile.
