ColourPop Jelly Much Eyeshadows Swatches
ColourPop Jelly Much Eyeshadow ($8.00 for 0.23 oz.) is the brand’s new eyeshadow that features a “waater-based formula” that has “intense” and “high impact” coverage that is “super longwearing” and “won’t crease, fade, or transfer.” There are eight shades, which I have swatched for you here!
These are really pretty, but my oily & hooded eyes are skeptical about the “no creasing” claim.
My hooded & oily eyes are skeptical, too. I’ve never found a non-powder shadow that doesn’t crease on me.
Wow! That gold…
Wow! These look really cool and so smooth and pigmented!
I’ve always loved their SSshadows and these look good as well.
Impressive! Half Moon, We Jammin’, Foxes and *possibly* Bungalow are the ones I’m thinking about getting. Maybe Ventura? More as a shade shifting top coat, though.
I am so excited to see how these perform! I want to get my hands on all of them, but if I could pick only a few… My choices would be Foxes, Ventura, and We Jammin’!
So curious for your review on these!
Wow, the pigment in Foxes looks insane! Hope these wear well and that CP will come out with more colors — taupe, light pink, purple.
That’s what I’d be looking for too!
I haven’t gotten this excited about a product in a while! Yeah, I’m totally buying one of these… Probably Short Circuit because I’m boring lol.
I’m really curious about how these jellies will wear when used with other shadows.
Can you blend them out? Use them as a base to layer colors? Do you have to use them alone? Will my tightliner bleed into them?
Please get us the scoop on these beauties, Christine! ❤️
If they are anything like the Butter London product, they blend well, both with themselves, powder, and paint pot or cream type shadows. Here’s hoping.
When I got the email from CP about these, I almost bought the whole set immediately. I don’t think I’ve ever used a “jelly” textured eye shadow before. However, I’ve used several cream eye shadows that don’t always perform so great. So, if these get the Christine stamp of approval I’ll be more inclined about picking the set up.
OMG – these shades look stunning, but I think that’s a texture you would have to judge for yourself.
Very interesting.
Looks like the Butter London Glazen Eye Glosses at a cheaper price point. I already have a bunch of those, so I will pass on these (unless that Foxes color is as beautiful on the lid as the swatch, I can add that to my collection as Butter London have nothing like it).
I know that ColourPop prides themselves on being the “fast fashion” company of make up, they have a few misses here and there, but I think their formulations are so unique, interesting and of great quality. Not even a “great at the price point,” but just great.
These swatches are so lovely! I was already on the fence about buying the whole set, I’m trying to hold our for your full review…
Thanks! Can I saw that as an older woman who is seeing my eyelids crease more and more (LOL) such textures are a welcoming sight! I like Dior’s Backstage and Estée Lauders’ Double Wear Nude Water Fresh foundations for that reason. These newer water-based formulas ( I emphasize “newer”) are stepping it up! I have a new concealer that works well because it’s thinner. So, I may purchase a couple of these to try (after your review 😉 )
Looking at these in their pots, I am reminded of finger paints I had back in the 60’s – the texture and packaging look identical. Those had a “cold” and jelly-like texture. I sure did love them – what a forceful memory!
I’m hoping Bungalow performs better than it swatches.
I have my eye on Short Circuit and Half Moon mainly though, they’re so pretty!
These look gorgeous, I love the duochrome Half Moon and Ventura. I’m curious to know how they blend out and how they wear over time. If they perform well I think they’ll be a hit!
Also I wonder if We Jammin would work as a bright highlighter too
I really want Ventura as a highlighter – the shimmer looks much finer than most other “unicorn” (i.e. blue-white-lavender) face highlights! Plus I love cream-textured face products 🙂
I think I’m only interested in Bungalow Short Circuit and We Jammin as a pop of color on the lid, don’t know that this texture would work for me on the crease.
Do these look anything like the Mac Big Bounce product? I’ve only seen pictures as they predate me.
They definitely perform differently!
Bungalow and Foxes are pretty damn sweet. I’m with Rachel though on the skepticism of creasing. Seems like everything creases or transfers on/around my eyes these days, regardless of primers, powders, brand of eyeshadow, finish, application, etc.
I already ordered the half moon and wasn’t sure if I should buy the rest. Most of them look so gorgeous yet I am eagerly awaiting for your reviews to see if the rest are worth it. 🙂
I love Butter London Glazen Eye Glosses, and these look similar but much more affordable!
Very interesting.
These look fun. But I feel bad for Butter London, glazen eye gloss was the one unique product they had. Now it looks like colourpop has taken their concept and done it better….and cheaper!
The lid inside my pot won’t come out now so I feel like I wasted money.
The pigmentation is good but I wish there was another way to have it stored without that flap inside.
Maybe try popping it into the microwave for 5-10 seconds or putting it in a plastic bag in some lukewarm water to see if that loosens it!
