We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Now, here’s a colour close to my heart. First I have to say MAC’s Golden Gaze (LE/Semi-Precious). I also really like Too Faced’s Push Up and Full Moon and can’t leave out Maybelline’s Bad to the Bronze. I don’t have any bronzers that are “bronze” (they’re mostly matte and brownish) but I think MAC’s By Candlelight MSF might count as “bronze”-ish (maybe pinky bronze? coppery pink?)

Like silvers & golds, bronzes are not something I deliberately buy. If they happen to come in a palette, I’ll use them, but not on a regular basis. I know I own several, but I can’t think of any off the top of my head that I really like. NARS Paramaribo has caught my eye, but I haven’t decided either way on it.

xamyx   I almost posted Paramaribo but I’m not sure if the darker colour is red-toned enough to qualify. I think NARS’ Surabaya (particularly Surabaya II) definitely would fit: http://www.temptalia.com/nars-surabaya-eyeshadow-duo-review-photos-swatches  It’s another pairing or shade that’s very under-appreciated, imo.I’d also like to nominate the original Guerlain terracotta bronzer.

I *love* red, burgundy, plum, etc for eyeshadows, but for some reason I just can’t get into red-based browns. I much prefer brass to bronze.

I don’t have a lot of make-up in bronze… There are bronze shades in a couple of my eyeshadow and bronzer palettes that I use for professional use, but definitely nothing in my personal kit. I do have a cute copper-colored Gosh eyeshadow that I often use. I guess that’s close enough to bronze 🙂

My favorite bronze nail polishes are Truth and Beauty’s (Forever 21’s) Bronze Medal nail polish and Burnished Gold nail polish! They are super budget friendly but pretty great quality! I probably have at least a dozen bronze toned eyeshadows! :>
