Best Everyday Blushes
Have you ever wondered what blush would work best for your skin tone for everyday wear? With over 600 recommendations made to-date (and we invite you to share your own recommendations at any time!), here are the most recommended everyday blushes readers have shared grouped by skin tones!
Everyday Blushes for Fair to Light Skin | Top 5
There’s some nice variety in the top five with entries from a variety in brands and even a budget-friendly option! I’m not surprised to see peaches, softer corals, and mauves come out on top for lighter skin tones.
The list below features products recommended by readers with complexions that are: fairest, fair, fair-light, or light. You can always go to our recommendation page for Best Everyday Blushes and refine by as much (or as little) as you want–like down to a specific skin tone and undertone and price!
Everyday Blushes for Medium Skin | Top 5
I guess there’s a reason that NARS Orgasm Blush is a cult favorite and has been a bestseller for years upon years! The top recommendations for light-medium to medium-tan skin tones definitely seems to run a bit warmer and browner/peach-based overall, though.
The list below features products recommended by readers with complexions that are: light-medium, medium, medium deep, or medium-tan. You can always go to our recommendation page for Best Everyday Blushes and refine by as much (or as little) as you want–like down to a specific skin tone and undertone and price!
Best Everyday Blushes for Tan to Dark Skin | Top 5
Most of the recommended shades for everyday wear from tan to deepest dark skin tones run a bit darker in depth but lean browner with more red and rusty undertones.
I know I’d appreciate it greatly, but I’m sure many readers with deeper skin tones would also be thrilled to see more recommendations by those with similar complexions, so if you have a medium-dark to deep skin tone, please help us add recommendations!

My favorites are MAC Cosmic Force, Lancome Miel Glace, Cover Girl Tru Blend Medium Rose, Hourglass Mood Exposure, Benefit Rockateur, Clinique Nude Pop, NARS Orgasm and Tarte Paaarty. I like Tarte Exposed too but I prefer Paaarty.
I’m on the fairer end (NC 15-20) and my faves for a simple neutral look are Hourglass Mood Exposure, Clinique Nude Pop, and MAC At Dusk.
My most-used blushes include Clinique Blushing Blush in Cupid, MAC Mineralized in Sweet Enough, Clinique Berry Pop, and Tarte Amazonian Clay in Paaarty. But my all-time favorite is NARS Orgasm.
My favourite for fair skin is Clarins Prodige blush in Soft Peach. A perfect shade for me.
I’m so tired of seeing the same products over and over such as Nars Orgasm, Hourglass blushes and Tarte Exposed. There are so many different, and better, options now. I’m very fair, NW10, and Hourglass Ethereal Light doesn’t even show up on me! I wonder if these blushes are really people’s favorites or have they just become a status symbol? I love Clinique Pink Pop, Flower Beauty Wild Rose, a few Bobbi Brown blushes and Stila Rosewater just to name a few. Time to branch out!!
You are always welcome to submit your recommendations! However, I’d just ask to be respectful of our community because while you might not like something, others obviously do and there’s nothing wrong with that – their choice is not wrong because you disagree.
These are what readers submitted, and given that it’s not like they get to attach their name to their rec, I’d consider them pretty genuine/honest – nobody was asked to only recommend a particular brand. Readers are able to write in any brand and product they like, even if it’s not in our database yet.
Actually I have listed what I use consistently. Hourglass Mood Exposure, NARS Orgasm, Tarte Exposed and Paaarty are staples for me as is Clinique Nude Pop, Lancome Miel Glace, Cover Girl Medium Rose and MAC Cosmic Force. Those are ones I’ve hit pan on or made a serious dip and I voted for them. You are free to like something else but don’t assume people are being anything but authentic with their voting. Btw I’m MAC NC 20 for reference.
All of te blushes are beautiful and absolute stunning, my most loved blush for fair (or pasty…) skintone is Mac Desert Rose, it is a delicate, matte shade.
I also love Nars Orgasm, tis rosegold sheen is just gorgeous!
Love your post 🙂

Thank you, Ela!
Mac Sincere blush is not discontinued per Mac.
Mac Sheertone blush in Sincere, Mac Extra Dimension blush in Hushed Tone and Fairly Precious and the one and only Chanel Jersey blush. NC30 warm olive undertones.
I am a tanned blonde and while it looks dark, the Clinique Cheek Pop in Cola is my HG. During the day I use it with a very light touch and it really gives me a tiny pop of color. I can build for night!
I am NC15 year round as I don’t tan. Favorite blushes: MAC Blushbaby, MAC Well Dressed, MAC Spellbinder & Revlon Tender Plum
