10 Best Brown Blushes
This is a silly question, but what’s the difference between a brown blush and a bronzer/contour/taupe anything?
Marketing! The formula may differ – like a brand’s bronzer and blush formulas are likely not the exact same formula, but they are both powder. Same could be true of a powder eyeshadow vs. powder blush 🙂
Omg powder eyeshadow and powder blush are the exact same thing… omg
The one thing to be careful of is red/purple dyes in blush may not be safe for the eyes and the glitter particles used in cheek products may not be safe for eyes!
My favorite brown blushes are Sweet as Cocoa by MAC, Format by MAC, Maui Nights by Becca (even tho its a “bronzer”)

I don’t wear brown blushes, but if I did – the MAC Warm Soul looks like the one I would choose.
Nars has changed the color description of Madly from “shell pink” to “shimmering tan pink.” Thank god. I really did not grok any pink at all. I like Madly, Rosee du Soir, and virtually instantly panned CP Aphrodisiac. They are so easy to wear with virtually any look. No drama blushes. I think Genevieve would look lovely in one of those lighter browns. Dallas: idk. Pulls puce, which I like, but i think it’s too pigmented or dark, maybe. Just never worked/was too finicky in blending, for me. Going to use Dallas tomorrow, to reacquaint.
I’ll have to start testing out dupes for it because my favorite was a limited edition – Mac Cosmic Force. It’s hard to find a good cooler-toned brown that doesn’t make me look ashen and it is my favorite barely there makeup blush. I’ve hit pan twice and only have one left.
Omg…I looked at the mineralize post to see just that one. I had no idea that every single one I like was LE or DC. Cosmic Force rules. You can look it up here for dupes.
I like Dior Mimi bronze blush, although I think it might have gotten discontinued recently? ☹️ Also Mac mineralize in humour me.

I love Becca Songbird, though I find it tricky to blend out. Experimenting with brushes next.
