Something like MAC’s Reflects Transparent Teal… but opaque.

MAC’s All That Glitters. You know how you’ll just rediscover an eye shadow? Ever since I got Smashbox’s Limitless Cream Shadow in Icon, I’ve been using that to blend the lines. Talk about amazing!

Urban Decay’s Lounge or Toasted, I think. Moonglow, by Femme Fatale Cosmetics (an indie company I’ve fallen in love with lately), is also a really lovely shade!

The aubergine side of NARS Eurydice or Melusine, or Ondine. I actually like to do a pale lip with a strong eye, matching my nails to my eye makeup.

@xamyx  Me too!!!! On all of it, from how you do your makeup to the colours you’ve mentioned! I’ve got my eye on both Eurydice and Melusine, solely for their aubergine sides (I’m a sucker for that colour) but can’t decide if it would be redundant to get both or which one is better (given the accompanying side shades and what I already have in my collection).  I have an YSL aubergine nail varnish that is pretty close but it lacks the sort of nacré shine or OOMPH of the Eurydice.

Have you tried putting Transparent Teal in top coat and using over black nail polish? It’s my fave combo ever! But other than that, I would have to say Jealousy Wakes 😉

@Christine (Temptalia) Instead of a clear topcoat, have you tried using a cheap, thin polish in teal? Or, even using the pigment/topcoat over a teal?

Mac Club and any of the UD Midnight Cowboy line, i would really like a beige cream glitter, my ideal would be like DLippmann glitter in the air.

I’m going to be greedy and say Armani Eyes to Kill Intense! Anything from that range would be cool, but particularly #3 and #14 because I have such a soft spot for these types of shades!

@Daniellenm30 This is such a beautiful color but how do you guys wear this color on the eyes? Do you use something underneath? I’ve had it forever in my collection but sadly never reach for it because I can never make it properly work.

xamyx Avatar

@sshine0923 @Daniellenm30 I use a flat eyeshadow brush (or even a concealer brush), and pack it onto my lid, then blend a matte fleshtone shade on and above the crease, add highlight shade, dark brown or black in the crease, and line with black liner. Usually, I just use primer under, but if I’m going for a more intense look, then I’ll use a dark colored base.

I know it’s not an eyeshadow…but I really wish they’d make a Lollipop Loving nail lacquer. The pretty shimmery coral with GREEN duochrome….omg 🙁

Actually, now that I think about it…I want a nail polish like Chanel’s Epatant…and on the flip side, an eyeshadow like Chanel Peridot

First choice, I have to echo Jill Baldwin below and say UD’s Loaded.  Second choice, I’d have to echo Xamyx and say the eggplant purple side of NARS Eurydice (or Melusine).  I thought I’d hit my dream polish when I got NARS’ Night Porter to match the Night Porter eyeshadow. But the colour isn’t as dark green or gold-flecked as I thought it would be or as it looked in swatches. (Plus, it was bloody HARD to apply successfully!! Quite a nightmare, actually. 🙁 And far too matte as well. I’m slightly crushed.)

Ooh…great question!  MAC Expensive Pink.  However, if the question was reversed, I’d answer that I’d love to see MAC Bad Fairy as an eyeshadow.  That would be interesting.

Anything that shows up as true taupe against my skin – like Stila Fog or W&W Moondust.  OPI’s Over the Taupe is brown on me, and I’d love a taupe nail look, with or without shimmer!

Uh, I have this old Versace es, it’s reddish pink with white and gold glitter in it – i’d love that as a nailvarnish 🙂
