The Details
What you thought was love was barely even a crush. Introducing the Rose Gold REMASTERED Eyeshadow Palette—a transformed version of Huda’s groundbreaking first edition. This palette is inspired by Huda’s obsession with the absolute, most necessary colors you need on an everyday basis. Rose Gold REMASTERED has made a comeback with creamier, more intense pigments, and combines 18 luxurious, talc-free eyeshadows in four key textures. It includes eight buttery mattes, eight melted metal shadows, one black shadow that can be used wet or dry, and one Pressed Pearls shadow. The REMASTERED palette features redesigned shades with a softer color harmony, plus the most insane metal fondant for your lids. The outer packaging showcases Huda’s favorite look and includes a large mirror to let you perfect your makeup on-the-go.

That is really pretty. I love her Desert Dusk palette but had no interest in the Rose Gold because of all the fallout issues (I am LAZY and I don’t want to use a glue or fixing spray). 😀 I may pick this up.
I already own the Smashbox Petal Metal Eyeshadow Palette and ABH Modern Renaissance, so I think I’m covered for any looks that I could want from this palette.
Oh ugh.. these have been done to death, but grabby hands !!!!
Looks pretty! I didn’t get the first one. But the Desert Dusk palette is bomb so I may buy this one. Will wait for reviews. What’s up with May 22nd? So many new makeup releases on that day.
When this palette first released under it’s original iteration, I really wanted to pick it up and just never did. I did buy the Desert Dusk palette and have been very happy with it but now, I am not as wowed by this palette. I have so many of these shades I am just on overload. It is pretty and I am sure the quality will be reasonably good, based on previous releases. I am sure that those who purchase it will be happy with the palette.
Not gonna lie…I want, but then I’ve resisted most other palettes with these shades including her original version 🙂
I’m dying to see how differently this remastered version performs in actual usage, because the comparison swatches I’ve been seeing on IG show a definite improvement in smoothness and eveness of this formula next to the OG version.
Wow. If this is as good as her last two palettes, I’m taking the plunge.
The first one didn’t tempt me but this one definitely does!
It’s really pretty, whilst boring at the same time! I feel that the pink based eyeshadow market should be full by now? But that might just be my feelings as I look like I have a nasty eye infection if I put anything vaguely pink hued near my eyes!
For those who purchased the original Rose Gold palette are left in limbo as it was not that great I believe (lots of fall out from the glittery shades), so I hope the new one is better.
I think the Smashbox Petal Metal is a great alternative.
I kind of admire Huda for ‘remastering’ her first palette.
At least it shows that she listens to her customers and has the integrity & humility to acknowledge mistakes or problems and improves her products. ( I can think of other companies who blame the customer or totally disavow complaints about their products)
I love the colors & finishes in this palette & if the reviews are good & the price is right I’ll be buying one for me and all 7 of my sisters-in-law & nieces!
So, basically they’re saying the first one was crap so now you should pay $65 all over again? SMH I’m waiting for ABH to pull this same stunt with the infamous Subculture.
That’s what I got from this as well. But I don’t think that ABH would, they seem like one of the few brands that once they’ve put something out they move onto something new. Plus, I honestly feel like Norvina doesn’t see anything wrong with the Subculture palette. My palette was fine but I waited months to pick it up and I think the one I got was pressed harder.
I own the original and use and enjoy it a lot more than I thought I would so I probably won’t get this. Curious to see how the two compare though. What’s up with all the swatches looking identical across different skin tones??? I’ve noticed this with several brands and it’s really starting to irritate me! The swatches just look fake and it seems to defeat the purpose of showing different skin tones in the first place.
This palette seems very dated. It looks like a palette that came out years ago. I know people will buy this, but the trend seems to be moving towards cooler or more neutral shadows now, so Huda seems like she’s going backwards. Plus, she just basically admitted to putting out a subpar product and now she seems a little shady to me because all I see is her trying to grab more money from people. If I were someone who purchased the original palette I would be livid (especially if I had paid the shipping cost from Dubai to the US).
Not at all interested. I don’t even know why you’d do a palette in this color scheme, but for those who enjoy the nude & nude smoky eye, enjoy!
I returned the original Rose Gold Palette, and hope to give this one a try. The last one had tons of fallout.
