Giorgio Armani #5 Copper Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil ($27.00 for 0.04 oz.) is described as it’s named: “copper.” It’s a muted copper with a gold sheen. The only shade I could think of that was similar was tokidoki Unicorno, which is more like an orange-gold. theBalm Mischievous Marissa is a bit like it, but it is an eyeshadow.  It delivers mostly opaque color coverage in a single pass, which is always a noteworthy feat for an eyeliner.  There’s a metallic sheen, but it’s not too reflective.

Giorgio Armani describes the formula as waterproof/water-resistant (they use both terms, even though they mean different things), soft, creamy, and intense.  The first thing you notice when you use it is how utterly soft and malleable the pencil tip is.  It’s so, so soft that it glides across the lash line with ease–no tugging or skipping.  Despite the creaminess of the formula, it doesn’t smudge throughout the day.  This shade wore better than #4 for me, actually, because it looked 95% as good after eight hours as it did when I first applied it.  I splashed my eye with water and lightly pressed, and I didn’t find that the eyeliner was disturbed, so it should make it through intact if your eyes water a bit.

I couldn’t agree more with your review. I snapped this up from Nordstrom online and am in love with it. So much so, I’m considering buying a backup before it goes away. It really livens up my hazel eyes when I wear it on my lower lashline. Liners usually smudge on my lower lashline because I have allergies and my eyes either water or I rub them. GA’s Copper doesn’t budge! (To be fair Chanel’s waterproof liner is the only one besides the Giorgio Armani Waterproof that I’ve found don’t smudge on me.)
