5 Perfectly Pink Lipsticks for Valentine’s Day

First, truth be told, I could not stick to just FIVE measly choices for pink lipsticks that would be fitting for Valentine’s Day. These are just my first five, so there are more to come. This is a good mix of pinks available, but the next one will focus on brighter pinks 🙂

  1. Laura Mercier Raspberry Sorbet — lovely soft raspberry pink
  2. OCC Femme — pale, light, but opaque yellow-toned pink
  3. Bobbi Brown Cosmic Raspberry — brightened raspberry pink
  4. Giorgio Armani #507 — light-medium pink, not too bright, not too dark
  5. Chanel Charme — semi-sheer pink with subtle cool undertones

I love the vibrancy of lippies like the Bobbi Brown but unfortunately they look more than unflattering with my skintone.boo. Looks great on you though, Christine!

The Laura Mercier raspberry sorbet looks like the best quality one. Also, the color of that one, the bobbi brown cosmic raspberry, and the giorgio armani #507 have to be my favorite colors out of these five.

Hey Christine! I know this question has nothing to do with this post but I want to ask you so badly. Is the 109 mac brush still THE BEST brush for liquid/cream foundation application or have you found something you love better? Also, what is the best concealer brush? My Sephora concealer brush is really sucky! Please please reply thanks so much as I want to purchase these brushes asap! (:

Funny, I got into pink lipsticks later than I got into other colours, I guess because I thought that they were just “ordinary”. All your selections are beautiful. I don’t think the OCC would look good on me, but I love all the others. Great choices!

The Armani and Laura Mercier lipsticks are my favorites, but I’m going with a pink gloss for my Valentine’s Day – NARS Larger than Life gloss in Coeur Sucre. The price was a little painful, but I’m sure that with some hunting I can find a good dupe so that I don’t have to shell out quite so much for it again! It’s beautiful though.

I have a few picks(I have a deeper skin tone):

Clinique’s Different Lipstick in Raspberry Glace. A classic!!!

MUFE Rouge Artiste in #36. This color looks good on everyone, from fair skinned to dark/deeper skin tones.

Sephora Rouge Cream Lipstick in Love Test #11(blueish bright pink)

Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color in Soft Rose(Pink rose) – So pretty!!!

I’ll be wearing my new Quick Sizzle lippie from MAC. I’m going to do a bright lip with black winged liner that day then going to add a line on top of the black of pink glitter liner (or pink liner with glitter liner on bottom lashline) then a pop of pink blush.

My pick for the perfect Valentine’s Day pink would be MAC’s Girl About Town. No matter where I am, I always get compliments when I’m wearing that colour. People always ask me what colour I’m wearing and where they can get it. Amazing. I used to work at a department store and we have a MAC counter, so I was like a walking advertisement, because I would just give them directions to the MAC counter.

I love the idea of pink lipsticks on Valentine’s Day! As another commenter mentioned, Clinique Raspberry Glace is so pretty. I might top that with NARS Angelika gloss to give it a brighter pop. I need to check out Laura Mercier Raspberry Sorbet too!
