10 Best Silver Eyeshadows
Even though I have several of these silver shadows, I can’t really make a recommendation….silver shadows are just not ones I like to wear.
I really wish I could pull off silver shadow! I have NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Pots & Pans and I use it as a base for powder sometimes.
Because “true” silver eyeshadows don’t exactly look good on me, I recommended some rather unusual ones that have a strong silvery sheen, but aren’t actually silver, ie; Nars Calisto, ColourPop Koosh, UD Aluminum, etc. Just in case anyone else has issues with true silver, too.
I love a good silver grey, but they are really hard to find. Most of them, like Shellshock from Vice 2, are far too glittery. A satin or light shimmer finish works well and doesn’t over shadow the other shades.
Gunmetal from Naked 1 is good and Armour is lovely too, if really going into the grey territory.
That’s why I liked the old Estee Lauder Film Noir quint – a beautiful gradation of greys and silvers that were quite muted.
The Buxom single eyeshadow in “Pure Platinum” is one of my fave silver shadows! It’s very pigmented and wears well ♥️
