What are your must-have affordable lip products?

ColourPop Ultra Satins, Sephora Ultra Shine Lip Gels. Jack Black Lip Balm… though I don’t know if that’s truly affordable when it comes to lip balm.

I feel like MAC lipsticks are “affordable” at this point. I gravitate toward high end lip products and some of them are almost $40! I do enjoy some of the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks, they are similar to MAC’s Satin formula, which is also a fave.

Revlon Lip Butters would be #1 BUT they’re discontinued ;( I still have some Peach Parfait & Pink Truffle though!

Jack Black lip balm is a ‘must have’, as in must have a couple in my purse, one by my bed, one next to my door, one in the car, a couple back ups. Best thing to help me deal with super dry lips, ever.
Revlon HD lipgloss — especially Rose Quartz.
Maybelline lipstick — I tried Touch of Spice, it’s “almost” on my skin tone but I like the formula so am going to look into other shades.

Even though I don’t have them here yet, I have a really strong feeling that the ColourPop Lux Lipstick formula will definitely be on my list! Plus, of course CP’s Ultra Satin Lipsticks and lip gloss formula, too. Nyx Slim Lip Pencils are my hands down FAVORITE lip liner. They look and last on my lips just like MAC’s!
Nyx Intense Butter Gloss formula is still a favorite, but I don’t recall seeing them at Ulta yesterday? May have been just an oversight on my part, though.

A lot of lipsticks I buy are in the ‘affordable’ range:
Milani colour statement lipsticks – Bronze Beauty, Candied Toffee and Cinnamon Spice
Maybelline Colour Sensational lipsticks in InStyle Sienna (a beautiful brick red/brown shade), Untainted Spice and a couple of coffee shades.
I also get my Elizabeth Arden Ceramide and those from past ranges onsale for about $11-13 from Buyinvite.
Her lipsticks are underrated and they have always worked well on me – favourite shades are Ginger, Cocoa Bronze, Flame (red shade), Goldmine, Cranberry etc.

I think $7.50 for lip balm is within the realm of affordability, so agreed on Jack Black! Absolutely need it.
NYX’s slim lip pencils, Liquid Suedes, coordinating Suede Matte liners, Liquid Suede Metallics, Cosmic Metals, and certain shades of the Macaron and Wicked lipsticks all make the cut! Love that brand, in case anyone doubted, lol.
Maybelline’s Color Sensational lipstick range, not even just for myself, but because they have a nude or MLBB shade for so many skintones in good formulas that they’re easy to recommend to my customers on budgets.
e.l.f.’s Matte Lip Color (the one in retractable crayon form), which isn’t perfect and has a kinda limited shade range, but well worth and hard to beat for $3!

I have quite a collection of MAC lipsticks that I love. I absolutely adored Revlon’s Colorburst lipsticks (in the all black tubes) as they were beautiful shades, felt light/non goopy, performed well and very reasonably priced. Of course they are discontinued! (while superlustrous still available? WTF?) Clinique used to have great lipsticks as well: I love Almost Lipstick of which only Black Honey still available and their “Different Lipstick” was amazing too but it seems to be discontinued. I tend to buy more MAC these days rather than get hooked on something that will be discontinued after I like it. Will not be buying any more Revlon lippies for sure as I also loved their old Moistureous line….sigh. I am a cranky old lady today…..had a cortisone injection and just a crankypants.

NYX Intense Butter Glosses and (don’t laugh) Lip Smackers lip glosses. I use the Lip Smackers before bed at night and it’s a delightful childhood flashback.

Milani Matte Naked! It’s the only lipstick I’ve ever come close to panning. Wet n Wild MegaLast lipsticks are also great, but lately I’ve been favoring more hydrating lipstick formulas. I’ve also loved NYX Butter Glosses, but haven’t been into gloss in general lately.
