Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer & Wet n Wild PhotoFocus pressed powder!
Rimmel Match Perfection Loose Powder – the only powder that I’ve been using for over four years now and I still love it, it keeps my oily skin fairly matte without looking overly powdery.
The Ordinary Coverage foundation – I recently bought it after reading amazing reviews and like it a lot, sadly the palest shade is too dark for my winter skin, maybe it’ll work better in the summer.
& Other Stories Powder Blush in Canvas Pink – my everyday blush, it’s not too strong but makes me look less dead (I’m onto my second one and I usually never finish coloured complexion products).
L’Oreal’s Magic Perfecting Base primer. It’s as good or better than stuff costing three times as much!
RCMA No Color Powder, and I just discovered The Ordinary Serum Foundation, which I’m enjoying so far. There are a couple other low-cost foundations I really enjoy, but I can’t recall the names at the moment. One is from Catrice.
Alicia, I just found a Catrice foundation, Fresh and Fit or something like that, and love it. Medium coverage with a dewy finish. Lasted 12 hours. All for $4.99 USD. What’s not to love?
Lately I have been hearing a lot of good things about Catrice, on YouTube especially the Foundation & primer. I’m very curious about foundation, and other items.
Oh thanks! I’m learning I can get some great foundations at really inexpensive prices now! As my skincare has improved my skin, I feel I have more options, and $4.99 is always better than $40!
L’oréal true match powder, kiko skin concealer, fit me foundation from maybelline , La girl concealer , Ben nye powder.
Kiko is very popular here in the Netherlands, but I have yet to try it. I’ll have to stop by and test the concealer!
Catrice Camouflage Concealer (though I am out, but I need a new one), No. 7 Lift and Luminate Foundation and RCMA No Color Powder.
I don’t think I have any affordable primers
L’oreal Pro glow
Colourpop no filter concealer
Maybelline Fit Me loose powder
NYX green color correcting concealer
I mentioned these in yesterday’s question haha! But, the Nyx peach color corrector in the lightest shade, Wet n’ Wild photo focus concealer, RCMA no color powder, and Pixi glow mist. If you also want to slip tools in there, I use pretty much only Wet n’ Wild brushes, and the Flower Beauty makeup sponge is pretty great if you don’t want to shell out money for the beauty blender.
The ordinary coverage foundation in 1 NS. My favourite tool for lightening other foundations. I like that it is not white and also has a faint refined silver shimmer.
is 1 NS the palest shade? I ordered it online but it’s a bit too dark for me right now and I was slightly confused about the shade names.
Here is The Ordinary’s breakdown of shades. 1.0 NS is the lightest neutral foundation shot with silver shimmer: The 1.0 series may be too dark for you overall..

Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Concealer & EcoTools All Over Powder Brush
Maybelline Better Skin Concealer and Wet n Wild Photofocus powder.
IT Cosmetics CC Cream (is that “affordable”? I’m never sure what the cut-off is), Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder, Coty Airspun loose powder, Essence All About Matte pressed powder.
Well, here we go! I may fork over quite a bit on foundation, but my Affordable Complexion must-haves are:
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, WnW Reserve Your Cabana “bronzer” as a radiant setting powder (using up the edges of my 1st one, as the 2nd one seems more shimmery ?), Nyx HD Finishing Powder, e.l.f. Mist & Set sprayed, WnW Coverall Pressed Powder. Previously, I would have also put Lumene BB cream on here, too. Seems like they changed up the formula, though. So it now has less coverage than all my previous tubes. It *was* my HG bb/cc cream.
Oh! I forgot to put Nyx Angel Veil Primer and Monastat Chaffing Relief Powder Gel!
• Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer (Light & Neutralizer)
• Wet n’ Wild Reserve Your Cabana Bronzer (as a highlighter)
• Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (Transparent)
• Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
• Real Techniques Setting Brush (setting concealer under eyes)
• Real Techniques Deluxe Concealer Brush
• Real Techniques Blush Brush (for setting powder)
Affordable complexion products are definitely my style!
Foundation: Elf Flawless foundation in porcelain is my new favourite – more long lasting than the Rimmel Match Perfection.
BB Creme – Nude by Nature in porcelain
Primer – Nude by Nature primer
Blush – Natio’s Sunkissed blush/highligter, always have a spare.
Setting Powder – Rimme’s Insta Fix powder in translucent – just the same as Laura Mercier’s but more product and much cheaper.
ooohhh!
Maybelline Fit me foundations (both matte and dewy)
The ordinary serum foundation
The saem concealer
Colourpop no filter concealer
Maybelline fit me loose powder
Wet n wild reserve your cabana (my glowy all over powder)
Wet n wild photo focus powder
Wet n wild precious petals highlight
Essence pure nude highlight
Colourpop concealer, Maybelline fit me matte ? ( may have name wrong) foundation, Maybelline fit me powder, ordinary serum and coverage foundation, l’Oreal Pro Glow Foundation (amazing).
Oooh Flower beauty blender and Physicisns Formula butter bronzer.
Nyx Photofinish Setting Powder, LA Girl green corrector, L’Oreal Studio Secrets primer in a peach color (I am not sure they make this anymore) L’Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur Eye.
Loreal Infallible Pro Matte foundation in 101. Catrice Fresh and Fit ?foundation…just found this one and love it. Essence Pure Nude highlighter. Loreal makeup sponge, the raspberry pink one. I like it better than the Beauty Blender or the Real Techniques one. Loreal loose eyeshadow pigments…can’t remember the exact name. Any Maybelline mascara. I also like Maybelline and WnW lipsticks for a quick pick me up when the seasons change. I also like several of ELF’s brushes, very nice for the price.
ELF High Definition Powder in sheer. I used to use the Coty Airspun Loose Powder in translucent, but as I’ve somehow survived into middle age, I need the more finely milled HD powder. So far ELF is the cheapest that doesn’t oxidize on my skin *and* works as promised.
I want to try The Ordinary foundation soonish as I am not fond of dropping $50 on a foundation, so I’m glad it’s been getting good reviews overall.
Several Ordinary products.
La Roche Posay Toleraine moisturizers w and wo sunscreen. Cereve nonsudsing facial cleanser
No 7 face serum.
Most I have is affordable but I do have tons. WetnWild Ticket to Brazil & Dulce de Leche. Most WetnWild lipsticks and liquid lipsticks, eyeshadows, blushes, eyeliners. Uhhhh yes! Highliters! Also Essence nude highliter. Milani baked blushes and the rose blushes and highliters, bronzers. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, Loreal Foundation, and Boots foundation all having the dewey added since I have in the dry/normal skin but aging and live a subtle glow. Cera Vé cleanser, moisturizer, spf. L’Oréal Revitalift program. Cover Girl blushes, Clean foundation also. Jojoba oil, Yes to Coconut cream, tons of Chapsticks for my daily run/walks. Essence princess mascara, Maybelline, Cover Girl, Nyx recent eyeshafows. .
RCMA No Color Powder
Maybelline Fit Me concealer (I heard new shades are coming out? If so, fantastic!)
Maybelline Age Rewind concealer (for a more high-coverage option)
Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation (I prefer the Normal/Oily formula, it reminds me a lot of the MAC Studio Fix Fluid)
Wet n Wild Photofocus face primer
L’Oreal True Match Lumi liquid foundation
Sephora Collection Bright Future color corrector for undereyes (I’m not sure if this is “affordable” for everyone, but it is only $14, and my favorite shade 04 Peach and some others are 1/2 off!). The concealer version is quite nice too, but I don’t have the right shade for me.
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation.
Nyx Angel Veil, e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation, e.l.f. HD Powder, Wet n Wild ColorIcon Coverall Pressed Powder, and Everyday Minerals Semi-Matte Base.
