Looks pretty solid – I’m pleasantly surprised by Black Butterfly, it’s gorgeous!!!
It seems like the swatch of Diamond Jubilee is missing? It’s a gorgeous palette but there are 2 or 3 colors I know I’ll never/rarely use. It’s also not as cohesive as QOH imo so I don’t know if I should pick it up. I think I’m just gonna wait on your review and make my decision then, since the last palettes of CR were not rated great.
Same here, Cindy – a few really stunning colours (probably duplicates of shades I own in multiples already but when has that ever stopped me???) but a few I’d just never, ever use as they’re not flattering shades on me. Still, some real winners in this.
Anxious to see how this reviews. I love several of the colors in this palette but not sure I really want to buy anymore palettes as I have so many eye shadows. I would love it if they released some of these as singles. Beautiful eye look, as usual, Christine.
This looks better than it did when I clicked through your link to the site. It just didn’t look worth $56. I ended up with 5 singles and a bunch of liquid matte lipsticks. I really like Black Butterfly, too. They have a set of 5 of the liquid mattes on sale, Coffee Shop, all nudes, from early testing, well worth $30!
Black Butterfly is gorgeous but the rest look like what’s already out there in a million other palettes.

My thoughts exactly. All these palettes are really just blurring together into one warm orange leaning palette with a pop of blue and green. Or bright pink and a purple. Blah. Just waiting to see if Christine can find us a dupe of Black Butterfly in an available single. I would be all over that one.
It looks like about $65 worth of eyeshadow and $10 in highlighter, so $75 for $56. I have found that a lot of the newer, smaller brands tend to have palettes that seem less value-packed than a mainstream brand (like Urban Decay). I’m not sure if the money that has to be invested in inventory/runs/equipment/packaging/quantity is just very different than making single pans of eyeshadow and that’s why it ends up being higher.
Brands like ColourPop do a lot of things in-house, which helps them control their margins better, and they likely are profitable (at least partially) by selling high volume with lower margins than a brand like UD which probably has higher margins.

ahhh Okay. So def worth the price. Maybe I’ll try one of their palettes out. None of their lip products worked for me so I have steered clear but they do put out some nice looking palettes
They put out some singles from the Queen of Hearts palette, too. They have occasional sales sitewide on their eyeshadow singles, and I think that would end up bringing them down to almost the same price within the palettes – could be a way to buy a few that you know you’d use vs. a palette where you might not use every shade 🙂
I’ve enjoyed most of the eyeshadows other than the six-pan palettes, but it seemed like quite a few (that I trust) really liked the six-pan palettes.
Black Butterfly!!! Not sure about the whole palette, but I *need* a solid 95% dupe of Black Butterfly! It’s one of the best and most beautiful shades of purple I’ve ever seen.

Black Butterfly looks very unique, I’d be interested in a dupe for it.
I am such a big fan of the Coloured Raine brand and eyeshadows. I was insanely excited for this palette when I got the first notification and I was going to pick it up – I mean look at the swatches! Buuut to get that to Canada…the conversion rate, shipping, taxes, customs, duties etc., it’s just not worth it sadly. 🙁 Hopefully there will be a sale on it soon! Thank you for all of the beautiful swatches! They are certainly swoon worthy!
I bought Queen of Hearts because I saw Amrezy using it and they looked pretty good on her eyelid. I must say that I love the palette, although Ladyship is quite powdery and, in swatches, it looks pretty patchy. The shade does work well on the lids. I didn’t purchase any of the 6 pans because I did find them a little bit on the pricey side. But this?! I jumped on the bandwagon as soon as I could! I am expecting it soon. I placed the order two days ago.

The blue, black and green are standouts for me. Not sure 3 shadows is enough to sway the vote in favour or puchase tho
The blue and green look very similar to two of their singles, so maybe that is an option?
Ooohh thanks Victoria, I’ll check into that!

It looks really nice! I have these kinds of shades, so I’m going to pass.
I like this one – and the very real nod to some cool toned shadows there too. The blues and greens look lovely.
Beautiful eye look Christine.
oh my.. that palette looks beautiful

Me too!
Looks nice, but I have enough palettes with those colors, nothing new to motivate me to buy.
I wish the highlighter was a little more popping . But overall it looks pretty good. Might pick this one up.
I haven’t purchased a CR palette because I feel the price point is a bit too high.
Christine what do you think about the price point for product?’
Looking at these colors I see dupes in my UD Palettes and colour pop. conflicted on these
