The Details
NARS Cosmetics introduces the Spring 2018 Color Collection, featuring new shades and formulas for Lips, Eyes, and Cheeks. Face the season with a fresh spectrum of luminous neutrals and molten accents.
Lips go creamy and full coverage with limited-edition high pigmented shades of fan-favorite, Lip Cover – a sensorial creamy Lip Gloss that combines extreme softness and incredible color saturation on lips. Eyes open up to polished shine in metallic Velvet Shadow Sticks, while a radiant gradient enlivens cheeks with tones of Liquid Blush and a newly formulated Highlighting Blush. Featuring a satiny, cool powder that imparts the most subtle pearly radiance to the skin, the new sheer and buildable Highlighting Blush formula is easy to apply and melts flawlessly into the complexion revealing an enhanced, healthy skin tone.

Going to keep an eye on Frioul and Hell Gate for myself.
Also going to keep an eye on the liquid blush, Hot Tin Roof, for a friend – she might like it.
I wish NARS was releasing a few more highlighting blushes in deeper shades.
Oh gee….here’s me hoping and hoping that they’d release a pink liquid blush as I really like this formula…but what do they do? A BRICK RED!!! Rats!
‘Course, my thoughts are just the opposite. Pink and coral, not so much, brick red, hell, yeah! And haven’t tried the liq formula yer, not even in Dolce Vita. Love when something runs counter to what is expected. Could be a winner for me, esp as these sheer out nicely.
I’ve got both Orgasm and Dolce Vita liquids and I love the formula, even though I’ve never liked the powder version of Orgasm. And it’s not that I don’t like a brick red blush (and have a few powder ones) but I just would really love a true pink in their liquid formula.
Those E/S sticks! WOW!
That blush looks beautiful. I can’t wait to see swatches!
The only thing I may be interested in is the highlighting blush, but I’ll have to at least see swatches first, since promo pics never really seem to completely accurate.
The collection is overall completely underwhelming, which is actually a good thing, since I’m really trying to cut my purchasing way down.
I always find nars stuff looks at least a little interesting, and once the promo imagery and swatches come out that gets even more magnified!
I’m intrigued by a few pieces , so I’ll look out for swatches, especially on darker skintones!
I’m liking the line up. I can’t wear brick red but I’d love to see a liquid blush from them every season!
The shadow sticks and blush are lovely shades.
Blush & Velvet Shadow Sticks are beauties!
I am intrigued by Frioul and the lip covers tend to be nice so I’ll see how the shades really look when swatched. I like that this is a nice, compact release and while that shade of liquid blush isn’t for me (I don’t do shimmer) I’m gald they’re expanding that shade range as I like that formula (thought wish it wasn’t in LE form!)
Both of the shadow sticks look nice. I’ll have to swatch Friol next to Bite peacock multi stick and see which one I like better. I’m really enjoying the new cream/liquid eyeshadow trend.
Christine,
Do you know if the lip covers are like the ones from the LE Summer 2016 collection?
Thanks!
Sorry, I do not have them to compare.
Yes they are!
I’m always a sucker for Nars releases! I’ll be curious to see some reviews on these!
