They are soooooooo good.
I have very very dry lips and on me they are not drying. They are drying if you use them every day. And I have to say that the swatches do not look as good as they really are. I agree that they look dry on the photos. In real life they are much more shiny/metallic. I always get compliments when I wear one of these lipsticks.
I am very interested in the review
The applicator is perfect and one coat is enough. And give them a good shake.

Actually these are not dry at all, which made me pleasantly surprised. The gray color did not apply well on me, which seems consistent with what I see above. I bought 4 of the colors and the staying power and comfort were really very nice. I am used to the Sephora matte red liquid lipstick and that one is very drying, but for the ones I have, they are very comfortable. Give it a try. I think these in conjunction with the Mac Grand Illusion lip colors will be amazing.

I love these! Got Foiled, Buzzed out, and Metrochrome. I have terribly dry lips and if I use prep and prime before, they stay on for hours.

I like the huggables also very much.
The Retro matte metallics are not as matte as really matte lipsticks.
Do you like the mattene Formula which comes back sometimes in limited editions? They are so smooth and comfortable, the Robert lee Morris lipsticks are mattene lipsticks.

On me it was not drying
Finally a red lipstick that really lasts.
Normally I do not like liquid lipsticks because I feel them on my lips all day but this not.
You should really try in retrograde

I had Foiled and Gemz in my cart and have now added Metrochrome – it looks pretty unique. I’ve been really happy with the Smashbox Metallic Mattes. Even though they take a touch more effort to not look too dry, the look is worth it, IMO. Hope these are as good.

NC 43-44 South-Asian women, do for yourself a favor and buy Coral Plated! I’ve never received so many compliments on my lip color since Mac’s flat out fabulous.

The blue is so lovely on me. Tried in a Mac store and got 3 compliments from non Mac employees. I bought immediately and it’s so far from the traditional matte lip. It wears like a lip balm but sticks on like felt. Very radiant I don’t need prep primer to make these shine and last.
