I think the only thing that annoy me about these is that it’s the same packaging. I really hate slim tubes and IDKY, I just don’t BUT these colors are looking pretty good so I’ll have to deal with it. I am excited for these!!!

That green was highlighted in an ad saying “Rihanna will have you wearing green” and I completely disagree. It’s the one color so far that doesn’t look like it will be good on any skin tone. However BiTE Beauty KALE is one of the best versatile greens I’ve seen with no one coming close to beating them. Not into the blue but she rocks it so well (what doesn’t she rock well??) I see about 4 colors that will be coming home with me!!

I think it’s the dark aspect. To me, it takes Kale out of the just-for-fun arena, and somehow makes it a more serious and conventional, almost menswear color. Still waiting for a Kale/squid ink duo, and if it happens, i’m all over it. The dark colors do not read ‘i’m trying to be young.’ They are somewhat edgy, but can be worn earnestly by a woman of advanced age, who has that personality edge. Kelly green or chartreuse is a whole different ballgame. I can do that, and I will be 70 in 18. Looking for a f/s Kale, remaindered at TZX tomorrow.

I think the green shade was highlighted in the ad because Rihanna is known to have worn a green lip. She did it a couple years ago, when it was not such as established look. When she came out with her beauty line, I at first was surprised that she went with complexion products to start because when I think of Rihanna, I think of a bold lip (green, dark blue, etc).

That said, in the time since she started to rock bold colored lips, more mainstream brands have come out with those colors (e.g. Bite Kale), so this release isn’t very exciting to me.

I can not wait to get my hands on some of these. Riri isn’t going to give our pockets a rest. Not even for a minute and I am all the way here for it.

It’s not as bad as some of the names of Urban Decay, Too Faced, and even ColorPop. Some of the names of their products are downright disgusting!

I love ya, RiRi, but this is just not working. I think matte lip products will be filling trash bins by next summer. I really want her line to be successful, and I love the gloss (despite the smell) and the Match Stix in Amber, but I’m not seeing many good consumer reviews. I hope she revamps the line a bit and makes a go of it, not only because I really like her, but because I love her concept.

I’m thinking this will be my Pat McGrath consolation since I can’t get them here, and at a much less expensive price. I hope your review confirms that. 😉

I like the freckled fiesta. I didn’t buy any of the galaxy b/c i wasn’t feeling the colors and knew I’d waste them but I can see this as a great spring color. I wish they came out in the fall so I could have done some really nice neutral fall looks.

I hate to be THAT person but the packaging and look reminds me a lot like the makeup geek lipsticks except slightly edgier packaging, nevertheless I swatched them in store and the formulas gorgeous. Planning on getting some but I wish they included more product
