Wet 'n' Wild Rosy and Ready MegaGlo Liquid Highlighter Review, Photos, Swatches
Rosy and Ready
Wet ‘n’ Wild Rosy and Ready MegaGlo Liquid Highlighter ($5.99 for 0.50 oz.) is a medium pink with soft, warm undertones and a frosted sheen. The shimmer was slightly larger in size in this particular shade compared to the others, though it wasn’t glittery or chunky.
The consistency was fairly watery and more prone to sheering out, which made it hard to get much more than medium coverage out of it since it started from semi-sheer. On me, it looked more like a pale pink sheen and lacked the depth from the color as seen in the bottle. The sheen itself was luminous and dewy without being tacky or wet, as it did dry down. On me, it lasted for eight hours.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to have "buildable" coverage that is "hydrating" and will help "smooth out the skin's texture." The doefoot applicator made it practical to apply the highlighter onto the face for spot highlighting, but for those who prefer to mix a liquid highlighter into other products (like primer, moisturizer, and foundation), it may not be as useful as a dropper, though I think you can get enough product off the doefoot applicator for mixing if desired.
The highlighter was thin enough to feel like a liquid, work for spot highlighting or mixing in with other products, but still had medium pigmentation. It spread beautifully over the skin with a brush or fingertips, though I prefer fingertips when working over a base (like foundation) to gently pat and spread the product and using the edges of my fingertip to diffuse the highlighter. The formula did exceptionally well over foundation and never lifted mine up (and I used some drier, more matte formulas with it). The highlighters lasted between eight and nine hours on me.
I was surprised that the product actually came in a glass bottle, as I would have expected plastic, and in a way, I might have preferred plastic for fear of the glass breaking in a bag, though it's not uncommon for liquid highlighters to come in a glass bottle.

Noooooo. There goes my hope for the lighter shades. Dang it.
Figures, right? while the usual suspects get banner marks.. it’s still Surratt barbe a papa then and I’m cool with that.
It’s not “bad” per se, but I’ll be sticking with my pan of CP Angel Food for when I want a cool-toned pink highlighter. Angel Food just seems to have more something? Cannot quite put a finger on it, though!
Forget about the highlighter….I want to know what you’re wearing on your EYES!!!! What a pretty look (I’m guessing it might be some of the new MUFE shadows???)
Ooops – I see it now. I’m so accustomed to seeing “Look Details” links up at the top that I didn’t think to look at the end of the reviews.
If it’s not the eyeshadows reviewed in the post, “Makeup Look” has always been posted at the end (it’s more like “other stuff worn alongside the reviewed product,” whereas the look details are about placement and shades used more specifically when those are the products actually reviewed in the post).
Heck, you’d think with all the years I’ve been coming here, I’d have figured this out but NOPE! And in a few months, I’ll probably get it all confuddled again! I’m blaming my age (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it).
LOL! Might as well. Actually, some days I worry how bad my memory is going to be in 20, 30, 40 years since I leave my phone ANYWHERE but where I should.
Damn, I was hoping this would be like the others 🙁
