Serpentina Eyeshadow Palette, $45.00 (Limited Edition)

Inspired by the jewels and gilded accents of ancient Egypt, Serpentina features 8 high-pigment pressed eyeshadows in shimmer, matte and pearl finishes, plus a Kat Von D Beauty first—a removable jar of metallic gold loose pigment! This little pigment pot (which Kat aptly named “Prophet”!) delivers big on uses—you can gild lids, comb through lashes and brows, mixing with primer for a custom gold highlighter, or pat over your favorite shade of Everlasting Liquid Lipstick. The rest of the to-die-for shades in the palette are formulated in Kat’s signature triple-milled, super-pigmented formula for instant, opaque payoff and silky blendability. With exclusive artwork hand-drawn by Kat, Serpentina will be your go-to for colorful eye looks—just don’t forget to do as Cleopatra would and finish with a fierce Kat Eye!

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Serpentina…not all that wow for kvd…is back for round three. Maybe i’m not too foolishly optimistic that pastel goth will reappear…maybe in the spring. Hope all are having a fine Thanksgiving, and not opening the purse strings too loosely. I’ve already done damage, and it’s not even BF yet.

My carts are loaded and I have taken a break from cooking to browse. I am hoping to whittle my list down a bit before taking the plunge. I am done shopping for family and already bought my daughters gifts during VIB sale so this is mostly for me.
Happy Thanksgiving to you kjh and all other Temptalia readers. Christine, I hope you are taking a much needed break for the holiday and enjoying being with family.

Innerstellar can be found at places like Marshall’s/TJ Maxx. Try there if you are near one. That’s how I got mine just a few months ago, and I think it was around 15 dollars for that palette:)

It’s only because someone found a stash of Serpentine palettes sitting around a warehouse somewhere. At least they all but admitted to that in an IG post.

My guess is that, for whatever reason, a number of palettes were either never distributed, or unsold palettes were returned from the storerooms of Sephora stores. A lot of people don’t ask employees if something is actually in-stock if they don’t see it, and stores clean out storerooms on occasion, and send seasonal things back. I also don’t think this palette was all that popular, especially being a Summer release.
