MAC NC30 (Medium warm)
Sisley Phyto Cernes Eclat Eye Concealer and Natasha Denona 28 Pan Palette in blue/purple
Most used cheek product: MAC Cheeky Bugger blush from the Kelly Osbourne collection (I bought this by accident and have since fallen madly in love, but it only shows up on my skin tone during winter when I have lost some of my color) and Tom Ford Love Lust (the original version, and again, it only shows up on my skin tone this time of year, but it’s stunning when I can see it).
I have been in a steady relationship for the past three months with Kat Von D’s Saint & Sinner, Anastasia’s Prism and Subculture, and Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette. I use some mixture of these palettes almost daily.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool

It’s been my only truly neutral eyeshadow until I ran out to Ulta this afternoon and grabbed the UD X Kristen Leanne Daydream palette ? and I just ordered the CP give it to me straight palette despite the lack of community enthusiasm. I watched so many YouTube gurus pick through it, and the general consensus I’m seeing is that it’s a great palette with the best selection of shades, even though it may be redundant for people that have the previous neutral offerings.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair / Neutral
Favorite product this month? Maybelline Fit Me loose translucent powder. It’s completely replaced my LM powder
Most used face/cheek product this month? Tarte Shape Tape for face and Sephora Bronzer in Los Cabos for cheek. It’s the perfect color for my winter skin since I don’t want to be too warm.
Most used eye product this month? I don’t think I have a specific product, but I’ve been getting more comfortable with shimmer/glitter eyeshadow, since I tend to stick to matte eyeshadow and do very minimal eyeshadow looks.

Favorite product this month: Nivea Skin Firming Serum. It is meant for use on the body to “break up cellulite” but I have been using the tiniest amount on my under eye bags in conjunction with my Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic and Retinol and my under eye bags are getting less prominent. Now the dark circles are still there but the bags themselves seem less to my eye.

Sometimes I add a small drop CoverFX Candlelight drops to my NARS all day luminious foundation (Macao) and it gives me a great glow. I have dry skin and would not recommend this for oily skin.
Most used eye product this month? Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara (black) & Benefit They’re Real Mascara (black), I put on the Benefit mascara to separate my lashes and then Too Faced to increase volume. I love the combination.
I’ve often found that layering two mascara formulas gives me the best results! I haven’t experimented with it recently, but I will now! Thanks for the reminder!

Eyes: TF Just Peachy Mattes with Tarte Exposed Highlighter as a lid shade for this week.
This year I have been participating in Palette of the Week, along with Blush of the Week and this gives me the opportunity to know my palettes and blushes better. I have destashed some palettes/blushes to family and friends that I used to like. This has really helped me refine my collection. By using the Vanity here on Temptalia I learned that I have a type when it comes to lipsticks, blushes, and eyeshadow palettes. Can we just say DUPE CITY 😀
Colouring : I wear KVD Lock it Foundation in Medium N2
I had a sample of Bare Minerals Intense Power Serum and it blew me away. Have bought a bigger sample size.
Finished my Benefit Dallas blush this month and now working on Easy by UD.
Again I panned a Smashbox shadow from the Full Exposure palette and now working on MAC Whenever You Call.

Warning, I haven’t worn makeup much this month.
Favorite product this month: I recent picked the UD green color correcter back up and I have used it every single time I’ve done my makeup. I forgot how much easier it made concealing the overall redness on my cheeks!

Most used eye product this month: For non-color cosmetics, its still the UD Primer Potion and Tarte Lash Paint Mascara. For color cosmetics, I’ve been maintaining the same mixture of ABH, MUG, CP, UD, Kylie, and a few miscellaneous singles, and I haven’t really been sticking with any one eyeliner.

Fav product of January 2018: Still Too Faced’s “Boss Lady” palette from before Christmas. I’ve been using lots of new palettes and singles, but somehow my feel good thoughts often go to “Boss Lady”. Had to force myself not to take it to Glasgow with me so as to try something else.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Hmmm, I do my cheeks as a sort of afterthought (just to balance things out), but there’s no question that this indie highlighter/blush is the bomb, and a staple for me. (I’m away, so I can’t confirm, but I think it’s Kaylux’s “Most Nominated”. Just a great copper-rose, duo chrome type bronzer/highlighter/blush. I can get away with just using it and nothing else on the cheeks and look really nice.
Most used eye product this month? Other than eyeshadow from any of five new palettes or singles (please pray for me!), Zoeva’s eyelid primer. A tad spicy, but once I let it set, it works.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, neutral-to-olive, hazel eyes, very dark auburn hair
Favorite product this month? My single powder eyeshadows! I’m falling back in love with them. Most of mine are MAC, ABH, and Makeup Geek. I’ve especially been loving ABH Stone and Ash Brown in a look with MUG Homecoming and MAC Mylar and Handwritten, or MUG Creme Brulee and MAC Mylar as a simple look.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer in Light Bronzer. I’ve decided it’s a little too yellow for me, although I love how light it is. I have a feeling I’ll hit pan soon-ish, so I’ve probably got about a year’s worth left. I hope get a good way through it in 2018 and then pick up the Bronzer shade.
Most used eye product this month? L’Oreal Extra Volume Collagen mascara. It’s a new one to me (I usually use Voluminous Carbon Black) and I quite like it!
