Looks like MAC has just released updated brush rolls! I have one from eons ago, which I like and use for traveling, though I haven’t seen these so I don’t know how the two compare.

So excited about these! I have been waiting for a mac brush roll for a long time!
I have the older style MAC brush roll & love it, but often I need more room, since I tend to travel with LOTS of brushes. I’m definitely interested in seeing these in person! The fabric looks easier to clean than the past incarnations, which is exciting to me.
50 bucks is pretty steep for a black brush roll with the words MAC on it. Now if it came with some brushes, cool.

I Purchased the large brush roll two weeks ago and I love it. I’m away now and was able to stow away my favorite brushes. I’ve hated carrying them in other bags because they didn’t protect and maintain the shape of my brushes. If you travel a great deal and treat your brushes as the fabulous tools that they are, then this item won’t disappoint.
I love the new brush rolls, fabric is so much nicer and material inside will be very easy to clean. I can not wait for them to come out. I think as soon as you’ll see them, you’ll want both of them!!!! Huge improvement from last brush rolls:)
I like the ones from etsy.com better, they have pretty designs.
Hey Christine, do you know if these are ONLY available at Nordstrom? I was hoping they’d be released in Canada at The Bay 🙁
I think MAC freestanding/PRO stores may eventually carry it. Usually if Nordstrom has it, The Bay has it, too, but I don’t know. MAC never sent out a formal press release for it.
I purchased my brush roll at a free standing MAC store, within a large mall.
Ok, the picture looks nice and high quality. But the old one looked so too. And what did I get? I think for the same price. Horrible quality, even the sigma brushroll was better in this department. The Sigma Brushroll had a horrible smell for like 2 weeks but after that it was fine. The Mac Brushroll still has the low quality stitching it had in the beginning.
I don’t like the quality still looks cheap. For the price I’m expecting something better….from outside looks fine but the inside definitely not….
For the price of the Brush Roll, you’re better off buying the MAC brush belt at a pro store and it’s half the price(well at least when I bought mine) and about the same amount of room for brushes. It’s a nice brush roll though, love the classic MAC look.
oh wow, that was probably a long time ago. Last I checked they were $45.

Still not sold on it. The brush belt holds more brushes for $5 less.
I wish i could get the brush belt but I guess you have to be a MACPro to get it, so I’ll have to blow $50 on this since i want something to safely keep my brushes in for travel. *sigh* i wish the belt was more readily available
they sell cheaper ones at ulta!
I returned mine. The bottom half was too tight to fit more than one eyeshadow brush.
Nobody knows the certain date these brushes come out in store?? I really want them both.
My boyfriend got me the large brush roll for Christmas. I was super excited, until I tried to fit my brushes in. The slots are to small for larger brush handles. Who would of thought for the price and coming from MAC. I’m really disappointed and think these brush roll’s should be recalled. LOL It is an extremely tight fit even for MAC brushes. I am an MAC addict but please don’t waste your money on this!!
