I like this more that UD Heat at least! I think they could have pulled off the inclusion of cooler, duskier rose tones and put in more actual gold rather than the deep pinks and cranberry red shades but it looks lovely.

I didn’t get heat, either. Swatched abysmally in store…though it may have been the store! Did get the pencils, though. I’d check it out first, as Nars e/s can be erratic. The top and bottom are from perms, that they though would work as deepening and browbone shades. At least they thought of that. But where is the powermatte set, M. Nars? I was certain they’d do one, but got sick of waiting and ordered 2 full size from U, and dribbled it on a quilt. Booo! It did most affirmedly not come out. Would like to see this reviewed, or at least in person. Love the way the issues start rolling out after the 20%. But, maybe it’s on Nars.com in time for their f&f.

I, for one, am over the moon that there are no golds in this palette! I passed on ABH Modern Renaissance because of the golds, but I can see myself using every shade in this one.

And ColourPop also just did YET ANOTHER palette (and a SS Shadow set) in this same shade range. And then there’s Huda. And Too Faced. And Tarte. And MUFE. And, and, and. Won’t someone think of the cool-toned people who love silver/cool and loathe gold/warm? Does everyone *not already* have a dozen variants of each of these colors by now? :\

Alas, these are really not “my” colours – just not flattering on me. Actually, knowing that some of the Narsissist palettes have been pretty poor quality (with a hefty price tag), I’ve avoided them except for the Dual Intensity one, which was a good purchase for me. So easy pass on this one although all of these seem to be new shades rather than ones Nars cherry-picked from their permanent line to put into a palette. I can see a lot of people really wanting this palette if the quality is there.

If we have palette burnout, imagine how Christine must feel, having to test out and review all of them (and more!). I agree about the colour-way in this too – these are shades I can’t wear well so the parade of red, orange and hot pink themed palettes is a “no” for me. And every company has been coming out with them since the ABH Modern Renaissance palette created such a stir.

Zoe I was thinking the same thing! And I love Naked 3 palette a lot. Haven’t used my Naked Heat palette much but I like it. If these colors are well pigmented this could be a good one for me. But if they are too light I wouldn’t be interested.

I like this peachy-rosy-neutral bohemian sunset direction. Fortunately I have the colors I’d use for these sorts of looks as singles from various brands already in my collection.

I’m so drawn to this as these colors are totally my jam. However, as others have said how many warm rosey/mauve toned palettes can a person own and Nars eyeshadows aren’t there best product. I’ll wait for the reviews.

I’ve always wanted (pun unintended) a NARS Narsissist Palette because I’m a big fan of the palette size and layout. However, the usual smoky taupes and darker toned colour schemes they tend to stick to have typically scared me off and stopped me from pulling the trigger. With this colour scheme, as tired as it is, it may finally be the right Narsissist palette for me. Let’s hope it rates well.

OMG!!!! I want it NOW!!!! There has not been a palette that I wanted this much in a long time! I need more eyeshadow like I need …..well you all know the rest! Golly gosh, golly gee! That thing is gorgeous! When does it come out Christina? I hope it doesn’t sell out as soon as it hits! I’ll be devastated!!

Oh my, I’m going for this one, despite the other things that I want – this is going to be “Merry Christmas to ME”!

It’s available for VIBRouge on preorder now, but I read somewhere this morning it will be released on Sephora one day only on Black Friday. However, it will be rerelased through Sephora & NARS on January 1.

It’s been my experience that even with LE items, NARS very rarely sells out quickly, especially palettes. There are still several available from a while back, including Loaded, L’Amour Toujour L’Amour, & Bord de Plage.

I’m not Rouge, and I am far over budget this month (due to the Man Ray collection, LOL!), so I sadly have to wait until January…

Thank you!!! That was sweet of you! I’m VIB but not Rouge – and I went bozo at Sephora yesterday — so I’m over budget too! I got one of the little Huda palettes (the smokey one) – I loved it – it is full of the colors that I love and silver!!! Perhaps by January, I’ll be able to purchase the NARS…who knows! … I am excited I ordered the Fenty Foundation, and I haven’t had a high end one in (except MAC) in a while. I’m disabled and on a fixed income – so having money for makeup is difficult. Somehow, I pull it off! Thanks again for answering!! Happy Holidays!!

You’re welcome! I’m not Rouge, either, but I kind of accidentally stumbled on the Sephora preorder page. The next morning, something popped up in my newsfeed about the palette release. Personally, I’m happy about the January release date, since I kind of want the UD palette, and with the Holidays coming, I can’t really afford to spend too much on myself.

Like I said before, though, I do have a good feeling that this one will be around for at least a good couple of months.

Happy Holidays!

I kinda like the 50 shades of peach theme going on here. I was hoping for something cool to compliment the season, but I want to see how these shades will look on me. I need new palettes anyway.
