Infamous is one I could happily live without but believe me, Haight is gorgeous and this is coming from someone who used to loathe blue eyeshadow. I have it in BOS III and it is stunning and surprisingly wearable.

Not a very unique/exciting palette. Money is really the only shade I don’t have in my collection, I like the hint of blue too it. I’m excited for some of the eyeliner sets though!

Corinne from TwirlieGirls.com Avatar

Pretty! Money reminds me of the light side of the Nars Dogon duo, except with more pigment. Looking forward to checking this out!

Chelsea Avatar

Yeah. These all look amazingly similar to other UD shades. Disappointing. I’ll hold out for the liner and shadow pencil sets, at least there you’ll be getting a real deal!

Helena Avatar

OH. MY. GOD.
THEY REPROMOTED MONEY, which was one of only two shades from BoS3 I wanted.
Two out of ten for $39 is better than two out sixteen for $54, right? ASDFGHJKL;
I don’t even know why I’ve always liked Money so much…I just do ;_;

Money’s a great color. I tend to wear it with Kush, since I have BoS III and Money’s a bit close to my eye color to wear it on its own. It’s got some glitter to it, so if you can’t stand that sort of thing, that’s a downside. I don’t mind the glitter at all when I use a shadow as a highlight/blending shade, and if I want to wear something like Money or Midnight Cowboy Rides Again as my main shadow, I use Fyrinnae’s Pixie Epoxy, which seems to hold the glitter onto my eyelid. XD

In this palette, it looks like Money’d wear great with Mushroom, and I think you could make it work with Haight, though I haven’t tried that combo yet myself.

That’s funny, that’s my favorite combo from this palette! Skimp and Money on the lid, Mushroom broadly across the crease/lower part of the brow and Haight in the crease, just enough to peek out when my eyes are open. I’m desperately searching for dupes to Money and Mushroom because UD doesn’t sell them individually (yet – but I’m hoping!!!). So far MAC Brun seems to come closest to Mushroom, but I’m curious about how NYX Iced Mocha compares as well. Also, the darker side of the Taiga duo from NARS seems to come relatively close to Money.

I got Skimp in a UD Beauty in a Box from Sephora, and I love it for a highlight color. The swatch above is picking up a lot of light, but I find this blends nicely for a subtle highlight. I have Gunmetal and Mushroom from other palettes, and they are pretty colors as well.
I wish sometimes that UD would do an all colorful palette, like the Naked palette but brights. I rarely use the browns and bronzes they put in these palettes.

Quinctia Avatar

I wish they’d do a palette in various spectrums. I’d definitely lay down for a Naked-esque palette of blues, greens, and purples for sure. That’s a guaranteed $150 for you, UD! 😀

Kathy Avatar

Gorgeous-looking palette, from the packaging to the eyeshadows themselves. I won’t be getting it though. I can’t see myself being brave enough to wear some of these colors, lol.

Money and Skimp are SO pretty though!

Mariella Avatar

Like I said before, I think I’ll get this for the sake of Mushroom alone! I’ve already got 4 of the shadows in this palette but Spotlight and Limelight look worth having, though, once again, I’ve no use for the pink shadow except to try to use it up as a blush.

Sara Avatar

I’ve already got Haight, Money, Rockstar, Gunmetal, and enough of their golden/bronzey/beigey/neutral shades to last me two lifetimes. the only one tickling my fancy here is mushroom. Totally not buying a whole palette off one shade though….wonder if it’s available as a single….? I shall check. 🙂

Thanks for the sneak peak swatches!

Mariella Avatar

It’s not available separately (Mushroom, that is) which is why numpties like me are prepared to purchase the whole palette just to get it! Mind you, I think I will take my NYX Iced Mocha shadow along when this is released just to see how close they are and if Iced Mocha is as close a dupe as I think it is, I might just pass on this palette (or not….I think I have an addiction).

nitnot Avatar

Oh boy. I was kinda wanting this palette but now, I think it looks better in the packaging and it is in the swatches. Also, somehow Haight looks way more teal than that in real life to me, but maybe that’s just me. And I will never use Infamous (pink purple makes me look like I have an eye diseases!) so… SKIP!

BethM Avatar

I have Skimp from when it was a single at Sephora, and Mushroom in both BOS it was released in, Money in BOS3, and Infamous looks close enough to Woodstock/Junkshow, so I won’t be getting this. The packaging is lovely, though.

DarkGlamour17 Avatar

I wanted this palette when I saw the ads for it…but now that I see the swatches it doesn’t look as great. 🙁 oh well that’ll be $39 that stays in my pocket 😀

Nicole Avatar

This palette looks really pretty… I am especially loving Rockstar, Mushroom, Money, and Skimp. I am wondering if Wreckage, Spotlight, and Limelight closely resemble shades in the Naked or 15 palettes though, both of which I have. I want my next UD purchase to be something different enough to warrant the price 🙂 The brush would be super handy to have though, it’s hard to find a good travel size brush. Thanks for the preview, I look forward to the full review!
