What was the last product you rediscovered in your stash?
The Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed shades (the classic ones,
like Opal, Moonstone, etc.) since I retested the minis and was reminded of how pretty they can be.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! My WetnWild blushes, it’s been awhile since I last used them and I’ve forgotten how much love I used to give them.
MAC powersurge liner – for a quick smoky eye, I wear it all over lid and lower lash line and brush into socket
the maybelline age rewind concealer. somehow it didnt appeal to me before, but now it works marvellously for my tired eyes.
I recently found a jar of DermaBlend translucent setting powder that I had completely forgotten about. It works pretty nicely.
Definitely my ABH Gleam kit, spurred by the recently released sugar glow kit and the repeat color Starburst. Gleam has definitely been the best glow kit for me and it saddens me deeply that it was so limited edition. So often I avoid using it, but I used it everyday last week…ugghhh it’s so good!
I feel the same way about the Sweets palette. Taffy and Butterscotch are just amazing!
That is definitely my second favorite of the 5 glow kits I have!
The Gold and Light Bronze shades in the Lorac Pro palette– I always ignore this palette but now these shades are my go-to!
Two items, actually. The Tarte Grav3yard Girl palette and Sugarpill’s Pumpkin Spice eyeshadow. I’ve been using both since the first day of fall to create a gorgeous orange eye look. I’m still in love.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Blushed Cooper , i was going for a peachy look and it goes so well with a coral blush and terracotta lips .
My MAC Iridescent Loose Powder in GOLDEN BRONZE. I had totally forgotten that I had it, until I came across it a couple weeks ago! I’ve been basking in its golden bronze glowy goodness ever since. 🙂
Burberry Antique Rose e/s (disc). Hadn’t used it since last winter. Good smokey transition color for green eyes.
Several:
Lancome Grandiose mascara in blue and purple
NARS Dual Intensity Blush Palette (LE summer 2016)
Lorac Porefecton Baked Setting Powder
Sephora’s Go For A Ride eye liner
My first higher end eyeshadow palette, the one my daughter sold me on: Lorac Unzipped (original)! Plus the UD Rockstar e/s single I also bought that same day to go with it. Utter magic for my teal-green eyes!
Meteorites. The oldest. Yeah, I know.
Hourglass blush in Diffused Heat. I’ve been obsessed with my Tarte Paaarty sample, but picked this up the other day out of the stash. Loving it again. I layer both the Hourglass and Paarty with Chanel Golden Sun.
Rediscovered MUG Creme Brulee and Chickadee and I’m getting some lovely matte neutral eyes. I’ve been blending Chickadee with MUFE Antique Pink (M-806) for the lid, a mix of MUFE Dark Purple Taupe (M-546) and the darkest brown in the Viseart Neutral Mattes palette for the outside corner and lower lash. MJ Black gel liner on the water line with mascara = happy. 🙂
My lone wet n wild highlighter in precious petals! I brought it on my flight this weekend and I fell back in love with it!
Bite Luminous Creme formula! Been pulling out some shades.
I’m always discovering beauty products in my stash as the seasons come and go. Some of my more recent rediscoveries include:
YSL Eyeshadow mono in Slate green – I’d forgotten how beautiful this shade is
bareMinerals The Scenic Route – that olive/khaki is the best one around
Guerlain Les Gris palette – now that FINALLY more navy clothes (my favourite shade) are making their way into the fashion shops, I use this palette more frequently now and it’s still so beautiful. It was made in the days when Guerlain’s eyeshadows were worth looking at.
Mac Peaches!
My Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadows. Every time I use them I’m reminded of how nice they are. I love how easy they are to use and how well they work together. They work well with powder shadows too. Sailor and Weenie are some of my favorites. Also DGAF!
Wet n Wild CoverAll Pressed Powder in Fair. I hadn’t used it with the hot weather this past spring and summer, but now that temps are down, I’ve brought it out again. I’m really appreciating what beautiful coverage it has.
Bite Buttercream lipsticks (discontinued.) They are a delight to wear. Luckily I bought three before they were taken off the shelves.
Also, I rediscovered an ABH eyeshadow single in Red Earth. I have deep set eyes, so I use it for a uniquely coloured smoked-out lash line.
