What brands are you least excited to see holiday launches from?

I normally would have said Too Faced but since the last two palettes I reviewed were better than norm, I am a little curious…

I personally still don’t have high hopes for Too Faced, Tarte’s huge megapalettes and sets are getting tedious imo, and the KVD Saint and Sinner palette does nothing for me. I love the packaging, but the color choices (or maybe just the layout) don’t make sense to me. I can’t picture any looks out of it. Overall, most of the holiday releases so far don’t interest me. But I’ll wait to see UD, Anastasia, and ColourPop before I completely write off this season. I wish Makeup Geek would make a holiday collection or something.

If TF does Rudolph the Peach Nosed Reindeer or We Wish you a Merry Milkshake palette those would be the least looked forward to..otherwise..up for anything.

Tarte and Too Faced, just because I never feel pulled in by their actual eyeshadow.
As far as who I would normally buy from and don’t think I will this time…KVD. The Saint and Sinners palette has amazing packaging, but what I love from her is her mattes and it seems this palette lacks them. Plus the color order feels like a vice palette it is so sporadic, though I want to love it so if someone could explain it to me I might change my mind. xP

Any brand that releases mega palettes. Too much, too overwhelming, and they seem to be the same year after year. I actually look forward to Dior as I love the nail polish releases and have been getting pieces from their holiday collection for the past few years.

Too Faced, because they just repackage the same colors every year. Hourglass because their offerings are always a rip-off price-wise. Becca because the eye palette they’re putting out is yet another boring neutral palette. Tarte for the same reason as Becca.

Tarte and Too Faced are the 2 major fails every single year out of the previous 3 years running, so those are least exciting for me. Usually I get that same feeling about Hourglass, but for a very different reason. Although this year’s cheek palette, while I still feel HG is ripping us off, is at *least* very beautiful and has very good quality. Their Confessional lip set just makes me LOL at their audacity, on the other hand.
I know I’m forgetting another one… hopefully, it’ll come back to me today!

Too Faced (poor quality and recycled colors); Tarte (I love the yearly blush palette, but the eye and face palettes are unexciting and have not been great quality the last few holiday seasons). Hourglass, Clinique, and Bobbi Brown usually bore me with their holiday offerings, and I don’t keep them on my radar. MAC is borderline: I usually like the packaging and lipsticks, but the eye palettes never cease to disappoint. I did really love last year’s Nutcracker Sweet collection, though.

Tarte, Too Faced, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Clinique and Lorac. Mostly what I look for in holiday sets (besides packaging) are eyeshadows and lipsticks and I don’t think those brands have great offerings of either (except I have heard great things about EL lipsticks lately).

Kind of a long list- definitely Tarte, Too Faced, and Benefit as I never like them. Probably Clinique, Lancome, Kat Von D and Lorac as I don’t even like their non-LE stuff. Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, and some other high end brands tend to be a bit meh come holidays lately.
