The Details

#500 looks really good for me. $38 for .10oz — not inexpensive. Formula might make it go fast! But so pretty!

Katherine, that occurred to me, too. And living in a hot climate like this, a lipstick really can melt if it overheats!
I think it’ll be interesting to see how these compare to the existing Rouge Ecstasy. They’re balm based, but I have no issues with melting and I live in the hot and humid climes of Virginia.
A bit on the pricier side, but if the moisturizing and lightweight formula claims hold true without sacrificing pigment, I could be convinced to check out a few shades!
“Twice as soft as traditional lipstick” could spell disaster in a few different ways that I can think of! Like; melting in one’s handbag if one lives in a very hot place, or because it’s so soft, it melts a bit too readily onto ones lips. Definitely a wait and see item!
Far too many for one collection Armani – Keep it simple. Some lovely shades there – but there are so many new ones in the market at the moment.
This is a new, permanent line expansion so they add multiple color options into each numbered shade range. When Armani does LE collections, they’re much more curated and typically max out at maybe six products overall.
I’m sure at least a few of these will end up in my makeup bag! I adore lip balms, and the Armani lipstick packaging is so nice and luxurious 🙂
I’m confused, because on the Barney’s site I thought I saw one called Androgino (like the lipstick, I assume), but in this list of all of the shades, it’s not here. I wonder if Barney’s named it wrong, or what. I’m just thrilled they’re not matte or all-neon.
